Gloves sector is relatively strong and stable this round! Except Supermax with legal cases..... Others are relatively OK compared to others sector.

*Kossan Rubber (KRI MK/SELL/TP:RM3.64)*

*3Q18 results takeaways:*
- Having ramped up activities at Plant 16 coupled with strong demand, Kossan’s 3Q18 net profit increased 25% qoq to RM54m (+19% yoy). This brought 9M18 bottom-line to RM142m (+3% yoy), which was within estimates.

- Glove sales up 17% qoq (ASP +2%, Forex +7%, Vol +8%). Utilization rate >80%

*Comments:*
- Management claims forward orders still robust and this is bucking the trend, unlike two of its peers. We suspect Kossan may be taking market share away from competitors.

- That said, we believe it will be a more competitive business environment from now on considering more nitrile glove supply capacity is coming on-stream in the near term.

- No change to forecasts.

- *Recommendation*:
Still a SELL but with a revised target price of RM3.64 (from RM3.28) as we peg the stock to a higher 2019F PE multiple of 20x (from 18x) - a realignment exercise, in tandem with our recent valuation bump-up for Top Glove. The new PE yardstick is in line with Kossan’s 5-year forward mean PE of 20x but below the sector’s 29x.

I disagree with @paperplane, No. 16 plant has started running in August, the No. 17 plant is expected to start in November. This positive factor is expected to continue to increase sales will also drive the share price to climb. I collected few at 4.2...... will increase in short/midterm
