entah2 tabung haji beli murah ... evergreen fr above RM1, now 0.60, brother sephi, what kind of average is this? this average = ramunia average= THheavy burden ma
lth have only few bad apples like thheavy n evergreen, their holdings on power root more than double in price from 0.50 to 1.20, they r also slowly buying more on glomac which have reit yield(above 6%)
1. Throw some now later after ge buy back la. Then can make some profit. 2. Director want to increase liquidity so can move up higher to another stage since quarterly report going to release. 3. You know la, director want to scare everyone by selling a bit first later one-two days before quarterly report than sai lang.
Possible the stock to surge as tabung haji has increases their stake while director increases the liquidity of the shares.
What kind of method is that? Remind me to mbf wa when the latok throw his shares till 7cents then collect back slowly until price like now... But is this technique apply to this counter? How many point will skpres going down if news LTH buy skpres already known by public...
Reason given by TA we consider all these series of disposal transactions made by the Gan family as means to re-align the share price to the group’s profitability and not exit strategies, before resorting to the privatization option. In our view, the disposal is part of the plan to improve the share free float after the company issuing bonus shares (1:2 bonus issue) and free warrants (1:5 warrant issue) to shareholders in June-12. This will enhance the tradability of SKP shares and remove the liquidity discount attached to the share.
i think part of the reason they dispose is due to the opportunity of GE13. While GE13, everyone will dispose, then they can slowly buy back then at cheaper rates,, hehehe..
It's already 20th, how come so few companies report earnings?? last quarter this counter report earnings on the 1st week, this time, have to wait til next week
sephiroth, Compared with preceding quarter, the revenue had reduced by 25.3% from RM121.17 million to RM90.47 million. Profit after tax reduced from RM11.86 million in last quarter to RM9.76 million. You may be right that its share price may drop tomorrow. That is how the market participants will react. But shall one react to each quarterly result when investing. Company performance bounces around each quarter, and may be even 1-2 years, but the important thing is the long term trend. What is the trend of SKP Resources for the last 5 years? But if you want to look at short-term of yearly performance, do you think it will under-perform last year when its 9 months net profit is 33.6m, 28% higher than the 26.3m the previous 9 months? Have a look at its cash flow. CFFO for this 9 months is excellent at 44.2m. After the capex of 6.9m, free cash flows (FCF) is 37.3m, huge amount considering its size. It is this FCF that shareholders get their good dividend. The rest of the FCF is retained in its balance sheet. Notice that cash has increased by 23.5m? These are more important things for a long-term investors. Agree?
kcchongz agreed, i am planning to collect on weakness just like i did previously at 0.32. FCF is indeed strong and cash and cash equivalent is RM80m or 8.8 sen per share. Alex, dividend will be announced next quarter
8.8sen per share is 25% from the current share price.... it is definitely above average for our klse.... i wonder, it would be better is they pay us dividend or start a share buy back program... am i right?
SKP Resources has been generous with its dividend payment. Last year, dividend increased to 3.1 sen from 2 sen of the previous year. This is equivalent to a dividend yield of 8.8%, more than twice the bank FD rate, with its share price at 35 sen. Isn't that already very good? A growing company needs to retain some of its free cash flow for capital and maintenance capital expenses for growth or maintaining its competitive advantage.
Oop, something wrong. Free cash flow is obtained after capital expenses. FCF can be used to do other things such as other investment, give dividend, lower debts (SKP Resources has no debt), buy back shares. SKP Resources need to maintain some cash in its balance sheet when a good investment comes by, or as a buffer when things are not so good, I think.
