This counter have net cash of 9.8 sen(RM88.05m) as at 2Q13 and will easily increase to 10.5-11sen at 3Q13. Dyson in China will boost company's profit. Hopefully price will breach 0.36 by this afternoon
alexlulu, i think you got very good point. This is especially true for many hot stocks recently which totally have no fundamentals at all. Almost all of them. Not too sure about SKP Resources though as its fundamentals, at least historically, are excellent.

What happened to you. I have personally done a statistical analysis on the long-term return of Bursa since 1971. The compounded annual return was about 12% per year. This result is statistically significant if you know what I mean. How can you "Buried UR Saving Alive" in Bursa with this type of return?
Desmond, I always say valuation is an art. Everybody does it differently and comes out with different values. This depends on a lot of data and assumptions. Hence it is important that one has its own valuation method and come out with his own TP, whatever it means. Don't you think that it is better to have a feel of what is the approximate value of a company, and hence its stock before we invest in it, rather than listening to what other people tell us what it is worth, often without any basis? Believe me, doing stock valuation is 100 times easier than doing your engineering maths, finite element analysis, theory of thermodynamic, Kirchhoff theorem or whatever engineering principles. It is just a matter of whether you care to learn on not. Regarding valuation of SKP Resources, I have used at least two methods in one of the threads in i3 which you have been reading. Did you take the trouble to read? Do your own and compare with others. Take the one you are comfortable with. Maybe one day you can do better than others. Then the chance of earning better return is there, or at least the chance of losing big is slim. Agree?
Hi Mr Chong... noted your advice with thousand thanks. Again, TQVM for your unselfish preaching. I only found u 2 days ago in this i3 under forum thread of Tan Kian Wei's Portfolio: GE 13 Watch - Kcchongnz (revised - 20 January 2013) & will continue to to be your reader... Cheers.
Desmond, you are welcomed. It is two-way things. I also happy and appreciative that other people read what I write. I too free mah. So sometimes just blah blah blah a bit. I welcome feedback also, good or bad; in fact I especially like bad and critical feedback. That is how I can learn from others too. With critical comments, I can also curb my over-confidence in certain investments which I could be wrong. It just that some time I feel angry when people say I bullshit, copycat etc without substantiated their criticisms. I am just a human being with normal emotion mah.
So far i m so grateful about your analysis & honestly speakling, have no comments bcos i m a layman. Once i master to equip all sorts of financial analysis, maybe then (dont know when leh) i m qualified to share with u my views of your analysis. Well done Mr Chong & your kindness in term of sharing yr knowledges as well as lead others to gain profit from this share market, will be recognized..
klogan14, you can get some basic fundamentals about stocks from some websites like Bloomberg,Yahoo Finance etc. You can Google them. I got the basic information from financial reports and annual reports of companies from Bursa. From there I put into my own spreadsheets to do my own evaluations. If you want to do like what I do, you have to learn something about financial statements and valuation methods first. One very good book to start with is the "5 rules of successful stocks investing" by Pat Dorsey.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
