Based on THE EDGE report, SGB sell off SOL to SMR. It's look like SGB want to reduce management responsibility and lift up the financial capabilities of SGB itself. Then SCOMI ENERGY have a opportunity to strengthen their presence in OnG business. This is what management thinking for the long term business plan, and i believe SCOMI ENERGY would become one of the business driven for SGB in OnG. After this the vision and mission of this company would be change and also with new faces of top management. This scenario also happen in GLC and other private company ex SAPURA, SIME DARY, DRB HICOM and Khazanah. SCOMI ENERGY would become a hot stock. Well it's depends on the SGB influential and business strategy. For RSC project, PETRONAS doesn't have option to award the contract to foreign company, the purpose for awarding RSC contract to JV (foregin+local) is to developed local company in OnG business. SKPETRO doesn't have chance to get 2 RSC contract at one time (mandatory criteria) for tendering process.
So if no interference from the HAND GOD I would say SCOMI have a big chance to get that RSC project from PETRONAS and SCOMI ENERGY would act as a driver.

Even though SCOMI secure contract from oversea...risk still there. Price won't fly higher from our expected, resistance at 0.37cent.

Joven: GE13 coming, a lot people already disposed off their shares & holding cash now, hoping to buy back cheaper from those who didn't dispose earlier but sell later during panic

above only true/workable if there are still majority people holding now & going to dispose at lower price later. If absolutely all players so smart, disposed all by now & wait buy back cheaper , then who is going to do selling during the panic ? even the market uncles & aunties so smart nowadays, waiting for the panic selling

you gotta decide that yourself. i'm going after other counters, as long as the value surface, i'll starts accumulate slowly. normally you won't get a good volume for good counters when the value surface

haha of coz pancing after GE13,lets see what is the price 1st, this counter wont stay idle and based on their previous rebound it signals that there is recovery for SCOMI, i believe tp of 64c could reach if psychological resistance at 44c is broken
