Its good news! That 40% shareholding received roughly 15mil in revenue vs group revenue of roughly 151mil in FY16. Thats 10%! We can expect 10% increase in revenue when its reflected!

KUALA LUMPUR (June 9): Pentamaster Corp Bhd has acquired the remaining 40% shareholding in its subsidiary Pentamaster Instrumentation Sdn Bhd (PISB) for RM6 million or RM50 per share.

With the acquisition, PISB, a manufacturer of automated testing equipment and test and measurement systems for the electrical and electronics industry, has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pentamaster.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Pentamaster said the acquisition will allow it to consolidate the full earnings of PISB and with greater control on its future business direction in line with the overall group strategy.

The stake, representing 120,000 shares in PISB, was purchased from PISB director Moey Huey Chyan (15%), Kang Soo Huah (15%) and Teoh Siow Khiang (10%) at RM50 apiece using internal funds, it added.

"As PISB is currently a profitable company, the parties agreed at the price of RM50 per share taking into consideration the current net asset
value (NAV) and its earnings contribution going forward," said Pentamaster.

PISB’s net asset value (NAV) stood at RM33.15 per share based on its audited financial statements as at Dec 31 2016 and RM41.12 per share based on the unaudited management accounts as at March 31, 2017.

Pentamaster shares closed one sen or 0.26% lower at RM3.79 today, with 289,600 shares done, giving it a market capitalisation of RM551.09 million.

From my analysis of the price trends, it is a long-term upward momentum with good support of strong bankers buying into the stock. But, it seems that inflow funds are slowing down and once the outflow funds begin, price will start to turn sideways next week. Watch out!

Dickyme I hope 'big-boy' offloading too, but sad to see yesterday traded value was only RM1 million... very small volume hahaha...I expect the price can fall to 3.6x level, price up & down is very normal, time will reward me handsome profit. Laugh

hold from 1.7x until now, belived the price can go further higher since the PE consider low in this bullish market. Growing of price always comes with some correction, it is very normal thing... I never seen a stock price can keep going north without correction hahaha

Good, hope monday sell down then I can get some delicious shares. For me <PE10 for normal profit making company consider under value. While price with over PE20 consider over value. But since PENTA involved in several very potential industry, PE1x consider under value also, if tuesday force selling pressure really happen is a chance for me to get more PENTA share. People will make wrong decision when they r panic.

Penta still have strong buying support from big funds, but inflow funds seemed to be weakening. If this trend is set to continue next week, there will be more selling than buying activity from big funds, so can expect the stock to go sideways on short-term.
