Waiting helps you as an investor and a lot of people just can’t stand to wait. If you didn’t get the deferred-gratification gene, you’ve got to work very hard to overcome that.

Far more money has been lost by investors trying to anticipate corrections, than lost in the corrections themselves.

Actually I am curious: This news came out from youtube on May.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUmETsfZEMc
but ARBB sign "big agreement" with Potboys on June:
https://www.nst.com.my/business/2023/06/924678/arb-iot-potboy-group-launches-ai-powered-pick-n-go-machines-18-mrt-stations

Nobody find it is fishy? Did ARBB pay anything to potboys?
Did ARB even make RM30k? Cuz it mentioned in news:
Through this collaboration, ARB IOT anticipates revenues of approximately RM30 million in FY24 and an estimated RM200 million for the next three years.

Something to ponder.

As a public listed company, your management didn't do proper due deligence on this Potboys company? Any feedback from your "great management"?
Shall shareholders report this? We check on the bald one or check on the fat one? See if there is any misconduct on the company? Even resigning from company cannot run away from such felony.

While 10- to 15-year lows are not common, they do happen. During these times, don't be shy about going against the trend and investing; you could make a fortune by making a bold move or lose your shirt.

"With a good perspective on history, we can have a better understanding of the past and present, and thus a clear vision of the future." — Carlos Slim Helu

It's far too easy for investors to lose perspective. Whenever something big goes wrong, a lot of people panic and sell their investments. Looking at history, the markets recovered from the 2008 financial crisis, the dotcom crash, and even the Great Depression, so they'll probably get through whatever comes next as well.

Too many investors become obsessed with being right, even when the gains are small. Winning big and cutting your losses when you're wrong are more important than being right.

"Given a ten percent chance of a 100 times payoff, you should take that bet every time." — Jeff Bezos

Most people dismiss many of the best and most profitable investment ideas simply because they probably won't work. These investors never stop to consider how much they could make if unlikely outcomes actually occur. Jeff Bezos took those bets and became one of the richest people in the world.

"In investing, what is comfortable is rarely profitable." — Robert Arnott

At times, you will have to step out of your comfort zone to realize significant gains. Know the boundaries of your comfort zone and practice stepping out of it in small doses. As much as you need to know the market, you need to know yourself too. Can you handle staying in when everyone else is jumping ship? Or getting out during the biggest rally of the century? There's no room for pride in this kind of self-analysis. The best investment strategy can turn into the worst if you don't have the stomach to see it through.

haha, fake acocunts just created recently, repeating the same nonsense over and over again, quoting investment mantras that do not relate to this toilet paper counter.

You would be wise to avoid this toilet paper, what IOT projects? and dubious accounts which auditors keep changing at the end of the day,...nothing for investors/retailers, only huge losses.

If the counter is so good no need to have fake promoters, the share price will speaks for itself, and dividen would be constant, what dividen did you all received so far? except for the free second toilet paper, ARBIOT which also dropped like no tomorrow....
