Show me a company whose Q turnover is $100 m and BA is $100M and still call that healthy. That is a sure sign of a company in great distress coupled with their extraordinary thin margin...leads me to conclude the company would have closed door by now if the Ringgit did not suddenly drop increasing ther margin suddenly.

People import by LC. , then LC gets refinanced as BA (for another 3 -6 months) if they want time. Healthy companies do not refinanced every thing into BA.

BA also don't know what to be sifu lead people to Holland.

BA is a short term trade financing tools (less than 1 year) for both purchases n sales (or imports n exports).Its very popular as it's interest rate is much cheaper as compare to OD (maybe 2-3% lower).

The Co has more borrowings in BA (short term basis) than their long term borrowings (RM11M+) cause their needs are mainly on short term basis (unlike purchases of machinery or expansion in plants etc which are more long term basis). It is mainly to finance their sales to their clients (as evidenced by their receivables of ard RM102 Millions (abt 3 months sales). Looks Ok too...unless n until their clients defaulted the payments (Icon8888 has analysed on that too, it looks ok so far).

Balance sheet looks Ok to me,just a bit concern on whether their performance can be sustain or not..especially after price has increased more than 100% in few weeks's time

If u look into balance sheets of the listed CO here, u can see many of them used BA lah..common as it's cheaper in terms of interest rates...Need to study the CO's debt ratio if u want to have a look into their debts level

Actually the type of BA facility is there doesn't mean the bank will grant to you....if your overseas customers are crappy.... the bank may not accept them and accept your sales invoices to them.. as BA as pointed out is self liquidating
