KHAMIS, 7 MAC 2024

LAWAS: Kerajaan Sarawak menerusi Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) mensasarkan untuk menjana 10GigaWatt (GW) tenaga menerusi gabungan hidroelektrik, solar dan gas menjelang tahun 2030.

Premier Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg berkata beliau yakin SEB berupaya mencapai sasaran tersebut dengan adanya pendekatan baru dalam menjana tenaga serta hala tuju jelas yang telah ditetapkan oleh Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif (CEO) Kumpulan SEB, Datuk Sharbini Suhaili.

Selain itu katanya, sebuah loji biomass juga akan dibina untuk digunakan menjana 1 hingga 1.5GW tenaga tambahan.

“Melihat kepada hala tuju Datu Sharbini, saya fikir dia boleh melaksanakannya. Dia ada keyakinan.

“Ini bukan sahaja hidro, termasuk solar dan gas. Kita juga akan bina sebuah loji untuk biomass yang boleh menjana mungkin 1 hingga 1.5GW tenaga.

“Kita juga telah meminda undang-undang kita di mana ia bukan sahaja tanggungjawab SEB tetapi juga pihak lain untuk menjana tenaga namun SEB adalah pembeli tunggal. Jadi kita boleh meningkatkan penjanaan tenaga.”

Beliau berkata demikian dalam sidang media selepas mengadakan lawatan kerja ke Stesen Mini Janakuasa Hidroelektrik (HEP) Kota 2 di Lawas pada Khamis.

Hadir sama Timbalan Premier Sarawak Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Menteri Utiliti dan Telekomunikasi Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, Setiausaha Kerajaan Sarawak Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, Timbalan Menteri Utiliti dan Telekomunikasi (Utiliti) Datuk Dr. Abdul Rahman Junaidi, Timbalan Menteri Industri Makanan, Komoditi dan Pembangunan Wilayah Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, Setiausaha Kewangan Negeri Sarawak Dato Sri Dr. Wan Lizozman Wan Omar, CEO Kumpulan SEB Datuk Sharbini Suhaili serta dif-dif kenamaan lain.

Dalam pada itu, Datuk Patinggi Abang Zohari menambah Sarawak berpeluang menarik pelaburan dari Eropah untuk membiayai projek tenaga diperbaharui dan tenaga hijaunya.

Jelasnya, seramai 19 duta dari Kesatuan Eropah akan menubuhkan Bank Pelaburan Eropah yang membiayai projek diperbaharui dan tenaga hijau dan mereka juga melihat Sarawak sebagai lokasi strategik untuk melabur.

“Mereka ada 10 bilion Euro untuk dilaburkan kepada Asean. Jika kita boleh mendapat 1 bilion Euro untuk Sarawak, kita boleh mendapat RM6 bilion.

“Kita boleh membina lebih banyak empangan hidro melata dan pihak Eropah menyokong usaha ini,” tambahnya.

Sementara itu, Datuk Patinggi Abang Zohari berkata Stesen Mini Hidro Kota 1 dan Kota 2 yang menjana sumber tenaga melata adalah selamat, tidak menjejaskan alam sekitar dan kediaman.

Malah katanya empangan hidro melata turut mematuhi Matlamat Pembangunan Mampan (SDG) Kesatuan Eropah.

Katanya, keseluruhan tenaga dihasilkan kedua stesen mini hidro tersebut termasuk stesen di Kalamuku adalah sebanyak 15MW yang digunakan untuk menjana daerah Lawas.

Terdahulu, Premier Sarawak bersama tetamu kehormat lain turut serta dalam sesi soal jawab bersama pihak SEB.

Beliau kemudiannya mengadakan lawatan ringkas ke loji berkenaan sambil diiringi dif-dif kenamaan yang lain. – EDISI UKAS

Long term investors should have no fear of minor fluctuation keep for 1 or 2 years and see. Do you think it will be the same. I too have invested quite an amount in minetech. Hope it will bear fruit in the near future.

Nampaknya semua syarikat yang mempunyai kaitan dengan anak Premier Sarawak, Abang Abdillah Izzarim Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari mengalami kejatuhan saham menjunam seperti SCIB, APB Resources dan Artroniq Berhad. Apakah akan terjadi kepada Minetech selepas ini?

Ada sumber mendakwa terdapat pelabur luar China atau ‘pencuci wang haram’ cuba membeli saham syarikat-syarikat mempunyai saham murah di Sarawak untuk meraih keuntungan.
