next market day is already Sep and with the Oct 5th meeting looming, activity in this counter will start hotting up as a settlement on the splash purchase is long overdue. Moreover if it drags on further, the relevant Act that apples can be invoked to force a settlement. There is no need for Pakatan to lose Selangor as the Federal govt can use the statutes to force a solution if it so wishes. Wednesday's closing 5 sen gain is an indicator of better days in Sep leading to the Oct meeting. Sit tight and wait for a bountiful harvest.

pls understand that the s'gor mb cannot on his own stop the deal if the Federal govt invokes certain provisions of the Water Services Industry Act 2006 to force the deal through. So it is really not up to the s'gor mb.

actually, the minister can force the issue by invoking the provisions of the WSIA 2006; I just don't know why the Federal govt is not making use of that option to move the deal to an early conclusion.

substantial shareholder Tabung Haji no selling since middle of Aug. They are holding on tight for the meeting scheduled next Friday for the settlement of the Splash sale to the Selangor govt. The issue should be resolved soon. Only one more week to go, get a clearer picture b4 selling.
