2Q13 core PAT rose 6% yoy to RM95.8m; YTD earnings of RM185.9m made up 38% and 40% of HLIB and consensus estimates respectively.  We deem results inline as 1H tends to be seasonally weaker for SPSB. 1.6 sen per share less income tax of 25% and 2.4 sen single tier dividend. 1H sales (Apr 2013) came in at RM2.83bn, which places SPSB on-track to achieve its RM5.5bn sales target for FY13. Maintain TP at RM3.35 (maintain 25% discount to FD RNAV), due to lack of fresh rerating catalyst as well as limited upside with the current negative sentiment surrounding the property sector.

The thing is, who and what will Liew bring with him as well? It won't just be about Tan Sri Liew only.

Another thing worth considering with Liew's departure is our government's remarkable track record of screwing up big businesses.

Zero I think you are a hero in the remark in last statement. At the same time in a selfish way we may have a closure to mve forward. Remember Eco a company by Liew Liew is shared openly and I think they do 10 billion yearly if I am not mistaken. This was shared by them during a recent awards nite.

KLvin, agreed. Actually what PNB bought is a shell. And Liew Liew name is only for confidence of the stock buyer. Grandma heard most of key ppl and staff already in Eco. For those who bought in, find out more, Grandma only giving direction.

no use...stock price controlled by PNB. Liew already out of this company, he just fulfilling his duty at moment till Liew exercises his option slowly.
