Maybank report 11/March: Earnings adjustments. We fine-tune our FY13/14/15 earnings forecasts by +0.8%/+0.6%/+0.4% to factor in the placement of 320.7m new shares (MYR943m proceeds; MYR2.94 issue price). We cut our EPS forecasts by 11.8-12.1% and RNAV estimate by 5.3% to MYR5.03/share due to a larger share base. Foreign shareholding has surged to 10.6% (from 2.1% at end-Jan 2013) post the placement.

CIMB Equities Research has upgraded SP Setia to a trading "BUY" and target price of RM4.14 from RM3.35. It said on Friday SP Setia has been a major laggard in the current property stocks rally.

Affin Research said the underperformance, in its view, was largely due to investors' concern on the likely departure of president and CEO Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin in 2014/15.

I believe PNB got some plan for SPSetia after his departure...if Battersea is successful, SP:Sime:EPF = 40:40:20, Sime Darby listing their properties arm....Sime Darby owning 30% of E&O...

everything so coincident...after reading your opinion on the trend going on FI, why not same happening to PD ?

other property & construction counters performance after election really made this counter looks cheap relatively.... if still can lose money at this entry level....the other counters which have run up so high is definitely at greater risk.

Having observed the price movement and transaction volume within 1 hour since the market was open at 9.00 am, price keeps climbing up (by three cents) and the bid queues increase. Technically, it shows a rebound signal soon. 4.20 must be a very strong psychological supporting level.
