No doubt these 2 days will see some profit taking after the results. Buy on weakness. Current aluminium price good enough to support share price to 5.00. Muscle, if u believe usd will depreciate, you can count on this counter. Aluminium is on early stage of cyclical hike. Even 6.00 also possible in this year.

- Press Metal saw its net profit jump nearly six time to RM146.1 million for 2Q16, from RM24.7 million last year, on higher production output and a RM45 million insurance claim, marking the group’s highest quarterly earnings since 4Q07.
- Revenue for the quarter surged 67.9 percent to RM1.6 billion, versus RM947.3 million in 2Q15, due to the additional capacity contributed by its new second phase facility and full production from Phase 1 smelter.
- The higher quarterly net profit boosted its cumulative 1H16 earnings to RM240.6 million, surging 254.6 percent from RM67.9 million last year. The figure represents a 76.7 percent increase from its FY15 earnings of RM136.2 million. Revenue for 1H16 also jumped 44 percent to RM2.9 billion.
- The group declared a second interim dividend of three sen per share, amounting to RM39.3 million, bringing its dividend for the year to six sen per share.

Significance: The group has stated that its business outlook is expected to remain challenging for the remainder of FY16. Following the commissioning of its new expansion in 2Q16, the group expects to achieve a significant higher revenue, due to additional sales volume. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the group expects to achieve better results in FY16.

Payungbasah , you are right each time after the results is out its will be a correction or mild profit taking just like UNISEM . After that its will climbs higher and higher . If your investment is long term, no need to worry about short term downtrend . In order to earn more , you should have the Holding Power . By right we should buy more if short term downtrend . Use DCA method . Once if we switch to the wrong counter , lousy counter , KOYAKLAH . They are controlling the price and press its down so they can collect back later . Pmetal Bole h .

I'm waiting some one to ask this question. It is general knowledge warrant not entitle for bonus, share split, dividend, voting rights, etc depending on deed poll..Most deed polls will have complicating convertion formula for such situation. Really need an expert to understand which I am not. Just my 3 cents worth..

Wikioon, don't rule out the possibility. In 2014, the price was sold down after 3 weeks they announced the bonus, before carry out the bonus exercise. From 11/9/14 at highest 7.43 to 14/10/14 lowest 4.72. The timing is similar, right before the Fed meeting. Be careful...

how did BB make $ if they don't push the price up and dump, then buy back again at low? this is the cycle. What other good news can you expect from this counter? I said it before, theoretically share price will be adjusted after bonus issue, share split or even dividend paid out and all should have already been factored in

Good thing is that this is a solid company with lots of growth potential and always pay dividend, I'm sitting on handsome profit (accumulated when the price corrected big time previously), will sell some more but will keep around 50% of my holdings

when u "invest" into a solid company, so long as the basic fundamental don't change, you do not need to look at the price fluctuation everyday or even weeks. why listen to people and always chase high and panic sell when there isn't any big surprises? I've been holding this counter for > 5 years and sitting on probably 150% profit (didn't really track), saw the counter up and down few times and still riding upwards end of the day

for every trend movement there's always a corresponding factor. 2014 trend downwards was due to aluminium price downtrend thus affecting the company's qtr per qtr performance, plus the samalaju fire affecting production. now the company is at full speed, lme price on an uptrend, and two weeks ago company jst announce 6x qtr profit and dividend.

go ahead and sell to those funds, my bet is that they are holding for the dividend and doing some profit taking at small vol to entice everyone else to sell. dont forget last week fri, they are also the ones doing the pushing to 4.40.

First you shud hv studied the fundamentals and done valuation of the share prior to jumping into the bang wagon. Share price will oscillate up and down. So what is the problem if you are not gambling but investing for the price to meet its value.

and the fundamentals are this is a strong performing company with better yoy and qoq results. there are no factors at all that point to a share price decrease. jst some funds scaring the small fishes to arbitrage their holdings.
for those who chill/top up at lows, prepared to be rewarded (albeit not in short term)
