KTB loss 13 million when quarter release on 27-08-2020 evening after market close, but KTB up 5 sen on next day (28-08-2020). Ages net profit 17 million as QR released on 28-08-2020 afternoon before market close, but Ages drop 1 cent when market close. So, we shd not so panic, steady....

Pls analyze the results properly, the operational loss is only RM2mil. Rest is one- off impairments, depreciation and amortization. Considering this is peak of the MCO period, the worst is over . One needs to look forward.

This counter share price oledi manipulated by the operator, not surprise if share price shoot up next week. But my view is, dont be greedy, 见好就收。As the share price can drop drastically if one counter have no fundamental support. Moreover, current price is far higher than pre-mco.

@tracy123, forget abt the face mask, i dont think face mask can improve eg financial position. From the last two QR, undoubtedly eg financial deteriorated. Next qr mostly will be red again. Now i jz hope someone to goreng the price, then i will sell without hestitation.

Loss are mostly depreciation amounting to 10 millions. Operating loss is only 2.2 mil. Cost of production increase coz MCO no sales n product that has high margin has decrease in demand. Sales remain in range. Good and bad time to write off the depreciation as they put in all losses in this qr. However, currently markets have many new investors which may make them nervous or panic.

Anybody notice, the interest expenses only 900k due to moratorium(normally 2-3mil each Q), and they have a forex gain of 7mil. Which mean without these two benefit, the loss will even worse...

Interesting to see many focus on facemask and don't see that this company core business is EMS of high-end PCB Assemblies and OEM product manufacturing. Well... if one to see from Tech sector angle,then it should benefit handsomely plus facemask is just icing on the cake
With NTA of RM1.18, it is already a good discount.

If many sees its bad and decide to sell...good catch for those who want to collect. Once seller 'kering', those who collect will enjoy higher reward on reversal.

If many dedice to hold, then those who wants to enter must be willing to pay 'premium'.

For me, look at short-term chart, formation off HH and HL already gave me idea what my next step would be.

1. In the note B1，there was an increase of manufacturing cost. The decrease in revenue was mainly due to loss of production capacity caused by Movement Control Order (MCO) implemented since 18 March 2020 by Malaysia Government
2. Since Feb 2020, high margin products were impacted by supply chain and shipment，resulted in slow in delivery
3. Newly purchased machinery has high depreciation. The purchase of new machinery is to increase the productivity for the new plant
4. There is an one-off rm 7mil provision of slowing stock, impairment intangible assets and trade receivable
5. Due to Covid 19 and MCO, EG only resumed operation in May 2020
6. The commencement of operation at new plant resulted higher depreciation due to initial set up cost and higher labour cost as several new product models produced at new plant are still under initial learning and development stage which require certain period to achieve optimal efficiency for high volume production

They were expanding their manufacturing capacity by invest in new manufacturing facility. Too bad Covid hits. In long run, this company can be consider as US and China trade war are happening. Hope they could secure new projects. Of course their balance sheet is not going to be nice due to MCO. Many other companies are facing the same thing. Mask is just a side income.

Exactly... I had been informed by my remisier that EG will be announcing good news recently and you can see the volume was thick lately... something big is brewing right now. Just ignore the QR as we already know it wont be bombastic

上个QR的foreign loss 是没有放在亏损，不然会更多亏损。所以这次的foreign gain也没有放。至于这次的operation loss 是因为销毁了七百万的存货。
总的来说，这次的loss跟丄季是一样的，大概在六百万，因为这次加了impairment loss 七百万。
反正是这样，连续两季亏损，已经有足够大的理由让机构投资者跑了。
因为他们是Top 30shareholder 里面拿了很多股的。

还有他们的短期借贷增加了近20mil,让我看了捏一把冷汗。让我担心moratorium period一过，单单interest expenses，就足以侵蚀了他们那单薄的profit。
