The highest limit price of a first day trading of a "newly listed security " is the limit up price or 5 times of the reference price...Which ever is higher

Therefore under current price of scib , the warrant "will not be limit up" on coming Tuesday

You need to work out from the closing price on Monday less out warrant exercise price
Then trade from there with limit up to 30 Cts maximum add on

say if scib 2.26 monday, warrant will b rm0.49 , so why cant it limit up to 0.79 ?

The opening of the warrant price should base on the closing price on 15/2 less the exercise price and not on 2/2 When x for warrant

Warrant Reference price wll be mother price closing price prior warrant listing - exercise price. So if mother stay at 2.30 on monday, warrant reference price will be 2.30-1.77=53c
( may refer to JFtech warrant listing recently)


How much warrant value..
If 20% premium, 2.30x1.2 - 1.77 =99, there will be day 1 limit up. 53c +30c, 83c, 2nd day another 16c
If 30% premium 2.30x1.3 - 1.77 =1.22, there will be day 1 limit up 83, day 2 limit up 113..

if the 53 is the warrant reference price for first day trading , the maximum limit up price will be 53x 5=265 instead of 83 as mentioned above

If mother share is closed at 2.30 on Monday , the parity ratio is 2.30/1.77=1.3 and warrant is unlikely to trade with 30% premium since the gearing ratio will be less than 2 ...And duration of warrant is only 3 years

Topearn1, Bursa rules for newly listed security on first trading day , the maximum allowable trading price is " limit up price " OR "5 times of reference price " of the security ..Which ever is higher....

For example , if the closing of Scib on 15 February is 2.25...Then the reference price of Scib warrant on 16 February is 2.25-1.77=0.48 or 48 sen

5 times of reference price means .48x 5= 2.40

Limit up price is 48+30=78 sen

That means the maximum allowable trading price of Scib wa on 16 February is 2.40 instead of 78 sen..

Hello. Just refer to previous issues like kpower you will understand. The adjustment on ex date doesn't have any bearing on the warrant listing price. It merely determines the mother reference price on ex date. Scib warrent listing price will Depend on mother price on 15th February closing. If higher than exercise price of 1.77, then the reference price of warrent is the difference. Example If mother Closed At 2.27 on 15th, then the reference price of warrant is 2.27-1.77=0.50 The limit up price is then 0.50 +0.30=0.80. The Next day limit up price is 0.80 +0.30=1.10
It will definitely not be 5x The reference price ad this is not new listing of ipo
Otherwise kpower warrant shouldn't need 3 days to reach 90 cents

Subsequently, the daily trading limit will be 30 sen for stock below 1.0 and 30% for stock above 1.0....

1.Based on technical chart,operator will try to push up scib tomorrow in order to facilitate higher opening price for warrant on tuesday.

2.Warrant definately will pass rm1 on second day listing.Either it can limit up again is depand on market condition.

3.The only problem is tomorrow contra player is consider huge.if it can absorb well,wednesday we can see mother share nearly rm3.
