Luckily I also sold KESM's singapore parent Sunright until only left 2,200 shares...sell all the way up from 41.5c to $1...then sold down further @ 80-81c...then lately @ 48.5c.

Sunright crashed to lowest level since it started exploding up to $1.13 a few months after I urged everyone here to BUY @ 25c & below...

Relieved I sold 90+% of my holdings there & have NO MORE KESM also =)

A Net profit margin of 3.2% is not worth business because you can get a higher interest rate when you deposit money in a Malaysian bank in a fixed duration. 3.2% is a multi-year low. Don't expect its net profit margin will stay so low. It will double or triple easily. If a net profit margin stays so low, the management should get replaced

The stock is a very good buy on this pice level because it is unrealistic for its net profit to continue on this level and the price to book ration is close to 1.00.

never expected it to fall so much. lowest price since Nov 2016.
Will KESM fall further on Monday?
If it falls, is it a buy or sell or neutral? Catch the knife or pick it up after it falls to the ground first?
How would KESM's fortune be in a year's time?
As I've commented much earlier, buy and hodl is for those who believe KESM in the long run while traders better avoid KESM. Its upcoming dividend can only do so much to alleviate the fallen price.

Analysts'TPs are based on the unrealistic net profit margin. But it will go up easily. I don't believe any analysts. They told us that in the beginning of 2018, Kesm was a good buy and now lowered its TPs beased on the unrealistic net profit margin. They are jokes!

CIMB Equities Research said KESM’s 1QFY7/19 results fell below its and consensus' expectations due to lower- than-expected utilisation following inventory adjustment from its customers.

“We cut our FY19-21F by 41% to reflect lower utilisation assumptions and higher staff costs in view of the rising minimum wage. Maintain Hold with a lower RM11 target price, based on 14.4 times CY20F. We prefer MPI,” it said in a research note.

tecpower, to be honest, you have a very limited understanding of KESM business. That shortcoming makes what you shared on i3 insignificant. I bet you never seen a burn in tester in your life. The profit margin figure you quoted seems to be plucked out of thin air.

Kesn's net profit margin changed like the following.

12.22%->6.64%->13.27%->3.24% It's not decreasing monotonously.Don't get too pessimistic about its net profit margin.

A net profit margin of 3.2% is on the same level as net profit margins of manufacturers during the financial crisis. It's too low. Business involves risk unlike a bank deposit, so if Kesm's net profit margin stays so low, the management should get replaced.
