Personal experience tells me, Magni only got Bonus issue, Bonus issue doesn't bring you Huat! Have seen many times in real examples (OSK/HH/Mitra/Matrix), after bonus issue or share split, shares traveled south for quite sometime, then gosdone!

Depends on what stocks u are buying and the sectors involved.

Sometimes the price is expensive during the ex bonus or share split time, therefore will head south once the new shares appear.

Mitra and HHGroup did well after the bonus issue.

Bear in mind HHgroup had risen from price 35-40sen in Jan 2015 to 75sen in July before the ex bonus 1:2. That is almost 100% gain within 5-6 months. The recent share price dropped for HHGroup due to the wrong timing of the ex bonus as it co incides with the major sell down of broad based stocks globally. But currently HHGroup is doing fine at 44sen ( adjusted price will be 66sen).

Same goes to Mitra ( free warrants).

As for Matrix, the stock is kinda expensive and property sector isn't doing well, so investor are avoiding it. The quarterly report was bad and profit went down by almost 30%.

VS and Hevea did very well after the share split. Same goes to Homeritz. All of these are export based stocks which had benefited from the fall of MYR. Obviously investors like this type of stocks and will continue buying it.

So, u cannot apply blanket cover towards all stocks.

The NTA of KESM is RM5.88. Current price of RM 4.03 is severely undervalue as the IV for it is RM 7.35 ( based on the June 2015 quarterly results). Also, the completion of KESM Test Bhd in May 2015 is expected to contribute positively to KESM Bhd net profit which will be reflected in this upcoming release of quarterly report.
