Come on..!! this family business mentality is always scare of U make money out from them and they are happy with what they are doing,, unlike QL, if LH to change then they will be better than QL, unfortunately it is NOT THE CASE. Now they are totally depending (curi-curi) on the Japanese to bring them out to the World. Cheap-scare.

- any further loss by 2020? Non-performing stalls are closed down, focus on fresh food, will break even for losses made in the past by 2020.
- Soft launch of japanese product in msia this year, fully commenced next year with expectation of 4k MT, 3rd year full cap 7k MT.
- Proceeds of Ijok land sold (27.6m) is to pair down borrowing.
- Question on 175m borrowing matured in 1 year - no concern as these are revolving credits n bankers acceptance that can be rolled over.
- no intention for right issue / private placement.

- Shareholders constantly questioned on sabah culling - management admitted that huge impact - loss 400k eggs x 0.30 = 30 to 40m - normalise by end of this month. But also assured shareholders that this is just one of their farms, there are other farms - risk is spreaded.
- Question on finding sources for future prevention - not answered. Said that this is industrial risk, can only be minimised, but not eradicated.

- Trade war results in increased cost on raw materials (usd up) - set off by adjustment in feed proportion calculated by their nutritionist.
- 70 - 80% automation, but stll have 62700 foreign workers at processing n supermarket.
- Last year 1m eggs production per day. Now 2.5m eggs per day. Next year will see explosive profits.

For Lay Hong's 49% interest would be RM86mil revenue per month (3% profit margin) would be RM2.6mil/month (RM7.8mil per financial quarter) additional JV profit.

- Cost rationalization from selling off underutilized assets and installing diesel powered lights (Save RM1mil per farm)

- MIDA tax incentive to reduce tax (increase profits) for export sales of Japanese chicken products.

- Farm culled to run at full capacity next month.

- New Johor Liquid egg factory commenced operations this month.

- Last year egg production affected by culling, was only 1.9 - 2mil eggs. Now is 2.5 - 2.6mil eggs. By next quarter will be 3mil eggs.

- Farm is 80% automated. Staffs mostly from retail operations in East Malaysia.

- EPF emerged as one of the top shareholders in the company.

- Will not be any Rights Issue (Short term borrowings are revolving credit for trade receivables - is normal for poultry industry)

- Ready to eat Thai food Chimdoo doing very well. Performed very well at Halalfest event recently. Expected to provide small boost to profit.



Conclusion:

Generally, good and bright prospect for FY2020. JV profit to be very significant in 2020.

Sharp share price drop last year mainly due to Kenanga not willing to provide pledge facility to Innofarm as share price fell (Sold warrants to top up margin). Unlikely to repeat as Innofarm has direct shareholdings.

Many funds interested in accumulation but would wait for next quarter results to see export sales performance (expected to be good)

Next quarter expected to be good due to stable egg price and feed cost, plus export sales, lower tax from tax incentive, lower financing cost (Debt reduced from proceeds from Ijok land).

Herbert Chua, I feel that the statement below are not accurate:-

1) RM11 per pack is Retail Price. If we are talking about factory price to exporter or distributor, it could be RM5 per pack only.

2) Current production capacity is 1200 MT only. For production line, if can achieve 70% capacity consider very good d. So we should only use 1200 x 70% = 840 MT only. Then 840MT / 250gm = 3.36mil. Then 3,36 x RM5 = RM16.80mil x 3% = RM504k x 0.49 = RM246k only.

I knew my calculation seem like too conservative, but i think it is more close to realistic. But of course I do believe the production capacicty will slowly increase. Once it achieve 4k MT per month, then I believe the profit sharing allocated to Lay Hong could be around RM1mil - Rm1.5mil. (at least 2 year for them to reach 4k MT).

Factory is 30% local 70% export. Local price will be RM11 - RM13. Export price will be RM8 - RM11. So RM11 is accurate.

This month contribution is RM800k per month (Around RM2mil per quarter).
