From the legal point of view, the govt will not be allowed to re-tender SKIN to a 3rd party pending the present claims by Presbhd.

This is because Presbhd through their solicitors would have applied to the courts for SKIN to be caveated until such time its resolved by both parties.

Hence, it makes no sense to over-react negatively to the claims for when it comes down to the facts, the govt will be caught with their pants down & Presbhd will have the last laugh!

Prestariang's sub-subsidiary Prestariang Skin Sdn Bhd (PSkin) is suing the Government in light of the latter's termination of the SKIN project.

According to Prestariang, the concession agreement clearly spells out the government's obligations in the event the project is terminated by way of expropriation. PSkin had secured the 15-year concession on Aug 9, 2017, to design and manage a new immigration and border control system for the Immigration Department to replace the older system.

The claim of RM732.86mil is calculated based on the contractual formula provided in the concession agreement which had been agreed to by the government, said Prestariang. In addition to the RM732.86mil, Pskin is also claiming interest on the sum at a rate of 5% per annum from the date of the judgment, and costs.

So why CIMB Research said the latest news was negative as it suggests negotiations between both parties have broken down? I feel the matter will be solve and the price shares will shoot up higher very soon.

I agree with Boneka, deMusangking & Lam Fook Leong.
The contract is legal & binded. They know the govmnt is tied up with the contract, same as MRT & ECRL. They know the govmnt whether like it or not has to renegotiate the contract with them or risk end up paying more in the end. They know in the end they will get back SKIN. As I said earlier, they are simply playing this counter a few times and make tons of money in the process.
This is the 5th time already. I made money in the 1st 3 rounds but lose out in the 4th.....but I intend to make it back in the 5th round.

The buying percentage for 0.47 towards the closing was rather aggressive at 86%!

Technically, it might open higher tomorrow and proceed to cover the gap btwn (0.505 - 0.530).
