@edcheong EPF actually outsource to several fund managers to manage. Hence what you see is the buying and selling by different fund managers.

Today 15.03.2024, cum dividend day of 3.5 sen. Today closed at RM3.02. Next Monday, 18.03.2024 (ex-dividend day) got to begin with RM2.98. Hopefully, can go back to RM3.02 or higher. To be on the safe side, SUNWAY got to overtake GENM in terms of market capitalization, to be included into KLCI component stock.

I can see on my trading system that Sunway market cap is rm18b (price 2.25) and Sime is rm17.7b (price 2.61) so already overtaken. Did I miss something?

It is not a matter you want to list Sunway Healthcare Group (SHG) or not. It is written in the following agreement:
Under the shareholders' with Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC Pte Ltd, the IPO for SHG has to be completed by October 2027.

During the listing of SunCon (8 years ago), Sunway's shareholders were entitled to a one-for-ten distribution-in-specie of free SunCon and post-listing, shareholders also received a 26 sen special dividend. We expect Sunway's shareholders to be rewarded similarly via the SHG value-unlocking exercise.
