Too Bad MAS was taken back by Khazanah. It used to be part of Mabel Airlines. It was replaced with Air Asia and Singapore Airlines.

Malaysia Airlines used to be part of Mabel Airlines until Mabel was forced to sell her stakes back to Khazanah. Shares of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) was removed from the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities from Dec 31, 2014 at 9 am. The last closing price was 26.5 sen. Mabel bought a lot below 20 before it was delisted using the same strategy as Sapura Energy. This is to facilitate its selective capital reduction (SCR) repayment exercise until its delisting, following a privatisation exercise by Khazanah Nasional Bhd. Khazanah paid 25sen per share. Here is the last contract that Mabel has purchased before it was delisted. Mabel and team was handsomely rewarded..

Mabel is looking for the same success story for Mabel Energy Battleship Sapnrg. It has consistently maintain Pole Position as the most active counter in Bursa F1 Race. So many months to go for Sapura to goreng and improve its contract rates and T&Cs across the board.

When a company decides to remove its shares from the stock exchange, it becomes a private company. There are many consideration before the price is set.

Mabel LaFarge was a good case where the offer price was RM 3.75 if Mabel remember correctly. It was way above the market trading price and Mabel and her team was paid handsomely by LaFarge to take it private.

The same with Cycle and Carriage (CCB). The offer RM 2.40 which was way above the trading price. Unfortunately, CCB Shareholders got too greedy and wanted more. So the delisting did not proceed.

For Sapnrg, this will be the worst case scenario for this National Treasures. With huge Assets and Gas Reserve. Let's cross the bridge if we ever come to this scenario.

Summing up..

Everyone, including yours truly, loves to try and buy stocks at their lowest possible price, but this usually backfires.

Trying to buy a stock whose price is dropping rapidly is like catching a falling knife because you can never tell when a stock has hit bottom...

Simply put, no one has the crystal ball to tell when a stock hits a bottom, probably only until it goes to zero...
