@moneylai, every warrant has their own characteristic and price is based on their underlying stock exercise price, maturity, etc, calculated using certain formula as regulated by SC.

as im never try to calculate it (based on the formula given), i hve no idea how the price will be derived. for me thats not very important.

the mother price is now falling and im just wait it to fall further and only react once the warrant go live and see if mother will be pushed up or pressed down later

Basis of determining the issue price and exercise price of the Warrants B

The Warrants B will be issued at no cost to the Entitled Shareholders.

The exercise price of the Warrants B will be determined and announced at a later date by the Board after obtaining the relevant approvals but before the Entitlement Date.

The exerciseprice of the Warrants B will be determined and fixed by the Board after taking into
consideration, amongst others, the following:

(i) the historical price movement of GBGAQRS Shares;
(ii) the VWAP of GBGAQRS Shares prior to the price-fixing date, with a discount of up to
10% based on the market based principles;
(iii) the prevailing market conditions;
(iv) the rationale of the Proposed Bonus Issue of Warrants as disclosed in Section 4 of the
Circular; and
(v) the future working capital requirements of GBGAQRS Group.

For illustrative purposes, the illustrative exercise price of the Warrants B is assumed at
RM1.27 which represents a discount of approximately 9.54% to the 5-day VWAP of the
GBGAQRS Shares up to and including the LPD of RM1.4039.

The Board wishes to emphasise that the illustrative exercise price of RM1.27 per Warrant B
should not be taken as an indication of or reference to the actual exercise price of the
Warrants B, which will be determined and announced on the price-fixing date.

bought at 1.07.. last support 1.01.. broke that then I have to cut loss.. hopefully it can close above 1.06 today and make a green hammer.. only then we will see big chance for it to climb up tomorrow..

@EST85, im losing a bit here. i thought 1.04 is the lowest support thats why topping up at 1.05.. but it break to 1.02 and close at 1.03.

if you ask my opinion on hope, yes it still have but unfortunately construction sentiment is bad.

for the past 2 wks, volume were low, only retailers play. let us see when warrant b go live, what market would re-act.

@ wantousek , Some of my frens expect the warrant to be at 40 sen tmr. But i think its too high. And im not waiting to convert it. So just sell and make profit now. Profit on hand is so much btr than taking risk. I expect the warrant to be pushed down soon. But who knows, maybe it will go up as predicted by my frens.

My suggestion is you should avoid holding 3 construction stock at a time. Diversify may help to reduce risk in case a sector is bearish.

Agreed. I also got invest in Ranhill and UEM Edgenta. Very profitable counter.
Unfortunately, the construction sector is bearish due to new government policy, but this is good time to buy some for next two years returns.

KWAP & EPF have been disposing. Each hold abt 3% shares left. Not sure if they want to dispose all. It might hve to do with political factor between PH and ex BN cronies.

Or just simply bcoz weak sentiment of const so they decide put it in somewhere else.

Rest of major shareholders seems still holding.
