According to the Agreement, BB Energy, the Concession License Holder has been approved and
granted a Concenssion/Temporary Occupational License (“TOL”) at Sungai Miang, Mukim Pekan,
Pahang Darul Makmur (the “Approved Site”) by PPPB to extract, dredge, sales and distribution of
river sand for export pursuant to the Letter of Award from the PPPB dated 10 June 2020.

Energy hereby appoints and grants to Pasukhas an exclusive rights to access, extract, dredge,
sales and distribution of river sand for export.
The contractual term is for 12 months and with option extending for a further 12 months
duration, with monthly production of at least 200,000 cubic meter (m3).

Sdn Bhd (the “AP Holder”) will be the Authorised Approved Permit (AP) via Pengurusan Pasir
Pahang Berhad (PPPB) for export of river sand under the terms of this Agreement.
Mr Mak Siew Wai, the Executive Director of Pasukhassaid, the Company expectsthe sand mining
operation to begin in March 2021 due to the Government’s Recovery Movement Control Order
(RMCO) still in effect until 31 December 2020, as well as the start of the monsoon season on the
East Coast each year from November to February.

The Company expected to supply a minimal of
2.5 million cubic meters (m3) of river sand per year to potential buyers from China and Hong
Kong to be identified later

KUALA LUMPUR: Pasukhas Group Bhd merancang untuk mengeksport sekurang-kurangnya 2.5 juta meter padu (m3) pasir sungai ke China dan Hong Kong pada tahun hadapan.

Bagi merealisasikan perkara itu, syarikat berkenaan menandatangani

perjanjian perkongsian menerusi anak syarikat milik penuhnya, Pasukhas Products Sdn Bhd dengan BB Energy Sdn Bhd.

Perjanjian itu membolehkannya untuk mengekstrak, mengeruk, menjual dan mengedarkan pasir sungai untuk pasaran eksport, berdasarkan perjanjian di antara BB Energy Sdn Bhd dan Pengurusan Pasir Pahang Bhd (PPPB).

Syarikat itu dalam satu kenyataan berkata, menurut perjanjian itu, BB Energy, pemegang lesen konsesi yang telah diluluskan dan diberikan Lesen Konsesi / Pekerjaan Sementara (TOL) di Sungai Miang, Mukim Pekan, Pahang.

Lesen itu diberikan oleh PPPB untuk mengekstrak, mengorek, menjual dan mengedarkan pasir sungai untuk dieksport berdasarkan surat penganugerahan dari PPPB bertarikh 10 Jun 2020.

"BB Energy dengan ini melantik dan memberikan kepada Pasukhas hak eksklusif untuk mengakses, mengekstrak, mengorek, menjual dan mengedarkan pasir sungai untuk dieksport.

"Jangka masa kontrak ini adalah selama 12 bulan dan dengan opsyen lanjutan untuk tempoh 12 bulan lagi, dengan pengeluaran bulanan sekurang-kurangnya 200,000 m3.

"Polo Specialist Trading Sdn Bhd akan bertindak menjadi pemegang Permit yang Diluluskan (AP) melalui PPPB untuk mengeksport pasir sungai berdasarkan syarat-syarat perjanjian ini," katanya.

Sementara itu Pengarah Eksekutif Pasukhas, Mak Siew Wai, berkata syarikatnya menjangkakan operasi perlomobingan pasir untuk bermula pada Mac tahun depan.

Ia katanya, berikutan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP) oleh kerajaan yang masih berkuatkuasa sehingga 31 Disember 2020 serta bermulanya musim tengkujuh di Pantai Timur dari November ini hingga Februari depan.

"Syarikat menjangkakan untuk membekalkan minimum 2,5 juta m3 pasir sungai setiap tahun kepada calon pembeli berpotensi dari China dan Hong Kong yang akan dikenal pasti nanti," katanya.

Tambah Siew Wai, pasir sungai adalah bahan binaan yang banyak digunakan dan pada masa ini sedang dalam permintaan tinggi disebabkan kepesatan kerja-kerja pembinaan dan penambakan di China dan Hong Kong.

"Perkembangan ini adalah tonggak penting dalam rancangan Pasukhas yang mana berpotensi untuk membentuk aliran pendapatan lain untuk kumpulan, sekaligus mendorong pertumbuhan dan pengembangan ke depan.

"Operasi perlombongan pasir yang bersesuaian akan membantu memperdalamkan dasar sungai dan mengurangkan banjir di Pekan, Pahang yang biasanya disebabkan oleh air pasang dan monsun.

"Di bawah perjanjian ini, PPPB telah mengenakan kawalan ketat untuk membendung perlombongan berlebihan yang mungkin memberi kesan buruk terhadap alam sekitar dan juga kehidupan penduduk yang terjejas oleh aktiviti perlombongan pasir dengan Tanggungjawab Sosial Korporat (CSR) dan Tabung Pemulihan, "katanya.
