MYIMMS will end next month. We can see MYEG+S5 is making a lot of moves, and Dsonic just steady without anything news. There are 2 explanations from the recent movements:

1. MYEG consortium is confident of getting the contract, hence they are preparing everything for it.

2. Dsonic already has all the expertise to get the contract, hence they don't need to make any move. Whereas MYEG consortium movement is making a last ditch effort to try to win it.

In my opinion, if I'm handing out this contract, I would choose a company that can handle it alone, less parties involved equal to less problem. MYEG consortium consists of at least 3 parties, which I think will be expensive for the project.

Previous projects was handled by single company, HTPadu for MYIMMS, then Prestariang for SKIN which was cancelled due to high cost. So if HTPADU and Prestariang can both handle the project alone (although not so effective), then maybe Datasonic will have a good chance too given their experience in the field.

olddoggg, EPF,KWSP,KWAP also would like to earn through trading. So it is not surprising if they buy in particular share. Nothing is certain as of now but just trade cautiously. Nevertheless, if DSonic did not get the NIIS, it is still another normal day for them only.

But it is understandable that someone bad mouth some counters due to they are having PUT warrant, which just to benefit them.

Many people know that Government will award the NIIS to MyEG. But government also advise Myeg to use local companies as thier contractors and S5 seems has proven record.

Since Myeg started hiring many good talents including from S5, I think Myeg can work with many local contractors to complete the NIIS project.

No goverment officer dare to do recomendation to award the contract to Ancom although acquired by S5. This is because Ancom does not has proven record and they probably will fail if Special Branch perform background check of the company.
