Ularsawa common sense tells you that Malaysians will go for whichever vaccines that have been approved first. Logically not all vaccines will be approved at the same time. Some may be approved earlie in 2021 some approved later in 2021. Not everyone is willing to wait for the other vaccines that malaysia ordered to be approved. Most people will just go for whichever vaccine has been approved earlier regardless of whether they have to pay for the vaccines themselves.

pineapple123 I read somewhere that vaccines can be modified within weeks to deal with mutation not a big deal. Even with mutation, vaccine will still be effective just maybe slightly less effective thats all.

Also keep in mind that vaccines that government sponsored is only for 2021 (Malaysians only). Foreigners excluded but foregners working in malaysia also need to be vaccinated. Furthermore, covid expected to last until 2022. Government will not sponsor for 2022, Malaysians will have to pay themselves then.

Yes logically only new batches of vaccine can be altered to cater to the mutation but that is no big deal. If i am not mistaken, Flu vaccine is also altered annually to deal with the current strains which mutates every year. That is why western countries need to vaccinate with flu vaccine annually
