Answer: I think so. No more revenue from PRC.

Answer: Not so sure about this. Can not confirm based on the QR reports. But I think more than 70% probability that the subsdidiaries sold should included the assets and liabilities of the companies.

3. Means kanger moves the business back to Malaysia? Pls share
Answer: 100% agree. All the revenue recorded from businesses in Malaysia (construction works, sales of construction materials and a little bit sales of healthcare goods).

Answer: All the big losses in the latest quarter reports related to problems caused by pandemic and the disposal activities of the PRC subsidiaries. Its involved big "other operating expenses".

Poor management??? Could be one of the factor.... Also can be other factors too....

@MZM Tks for your clarification. Most companies already on recovery mode after pandemic. Hope big operating expenses are with transparency, honesty and integrity. Quarter after quarter of such huge loss.will kanger run into cash flow problem with such losses?

@Patience99. Let's see the next in coming QR in August. Is it any change of tides related to its profitability......
Hope the clearance of messes related to the disposal of subsidiaries in PRC already completed in the last number of quarters. If TRUE, hope to see the better quarterly report with at least will record a lower loss in the P&L.

Based on the last 4QR report.

Individual Quarter report.

Revenue increased significantly by RM98.0 million or more than 100% in the current financial quarter ended 31 March 2022 (“Q42022”) as compared to the corresponding quarter ended 31 March 2021 (“Q5 2021”) mainly due to:-

(a) additional source of revenue from construction business segments amounting to RM90.8 million; (Note: As an evidence that the construction work is a new main source of revenue for Kanger).

(b) additional source of revenue from selling of building materials amounting to RM7.4 million; and (Note: this is a contribution from the Sung Master aquisition by Kanger).

(c) additional source of revenue from selling of medical and health care products of RM0.9 million. (Note: Revenue from the sales of heath care products such as face mask)

Also be noted that the revenue from the bamboo related goods in PRC = 0.

The gross profit recorded in Q4 2022 increased by more than 100% as compared to gross loss recorded in Q5 2021 mainly due to absent of higher discount given previously to the customers to clear some old stocks in Q5 2021.

(To look back @ my past posting)

... I think the prospect for turnround to be realised in the near future will be influenced by:

1. Whether all the of expenses related to the disposal of bamboo business has been accounted for in a number of quarterly reports include the last QR. If yes, the in coming quarterly reports maybe will not be burdened by high other operating expenses which makes the P&L records a huge losses.

2. The revenue from contruction business grows tremendously. Its order book contract reported almost RM1 billion. The challenge for the company is whether it can makes profit from the increasing revenue from construction segment ???
