Welcome Connie .. Just returning favour. I have been wanting to learn EW and TA so much. Your links as well as your and 2Bits teachings to Cherry Tomato on how to calculate fibo come very handy to me. Thanks Connie and 2Bits for that .. I am a pensioner now and have seen many crashes since 1980s but still make mistakes. Still learning....

Hi connie, shares, unlike futures, does not have the kind of volatility which enables a trader to profit. The 15 mins time frame is the one I use for futures trading. For example. CPO futures have an average volatility for 47 points daily. If a trader can make just 10 points, the profit is $250. But share have none of that. All we can do is buy and sell higher n have to wait for a long time.

wanone ... u are most welcomed !! it took me so long to come to terms with the fact that entry based on TA is only 10% important .. risk management is 90% .. we traders always scout around for the holy grail entry method .. but we fail to realize that managing risk is in fact much more significant cuz NOBODY knows how the market is going to react .. traders only use confluence of TA signals to play a high probability (not guaranteed) trades :) some traders may have mediocre entry method but they manage risk well and so can survive in the market ... so, don't be too bogged down by waves and what-nots k ??

hi juni .. somehow i feel more comfy with these charts for short-term view !! eg a lot of traders calling to buy when price is at peak of m15 with a -D ... this is almost 100% guaranteed that price will retrace and so i will wait for better entry !! not trying to catch bottom but merely a better entry price and so i can earn something err not much from the fractal waves :)
