If they had Lee Kuan Yew. NB: And vice versa - Singapore would be Gaza 2.0 without an excellent gomen that embraces secularism

If they had Lee Kuan Yew. NB: And vice versa - Singapore would be Gaza 2.0 without an excellent gomen that embraces secularism

Comparability:

Both cases involve neighboring entities with historical ties.
Disputes in both regions have resulted in conflicts, though of different natures.
Analogy:

In both cases, borders and territorial issues are central to the conflicts.
Both situations have seen international mediation efforts, with varying degrees of success.
Similarity:

Both Israel-Gaza and Malaysia-Singapore have experienced tensions and conflicts over territory and sovereignty.
In both instances, religion and ethnicity play significant roles, with Israel-Gaza having religious and ethnic dimensions, and Malaysia-Singapore having ethnic tensions between Malays and Chinese.

Together with the West Bank, their land area is comparable to Singapore.

Late LKY gave a fore warning to singaporeans! If you pull the tab, the water in the bathtub simply drain away very quickly!
What LKY tried to warn is that, Singapore is strong because they have the right leaders to manage it! But pull away those competent leaders and Singapore will quickly turn to dust!
There's no guarantee Singapore that we know today will remain under lousy leadership! Just look at Malaysia! Already on the way to become another Iran!

Exactly. The way our country debt and ringgit are going, we'll be the reverse of israel-gaza. Singapore - small but more like Israel in terms of prosperity and strength. Penis-sular will surely turn to like gaza

A mini version of this condition is Kedah and Penang. One is rich but small. One is big but poor. The latter is claiming the former as their land.

Yeah! I won't be surprise if PAS want to claim Singapore once they mismanage Malaysia to the ground! You know invade another rich country thinking it will fill up their empty coffer!

We can give them reason by bombarding them with 6000 missiles. After all, Malaysia's military strength has ranked lower than Singapore's. In the list with 145 countries, Malaysia was ranked 42nd while Singapore no. 29. They got LCS ready, we don't have. And we got palestinians' backing while they got the Israel and USA

Even if we compare education ranking. Singapore is world top 10, but msia not even top 50 - that's why pupils are taught to carry toy guns and dress up like terrorists

with or without Mr Lee, Gaza will never be on par with Singapore.
You probably forgot Malaysia has once to be working with Mr Lee, but it failed.

Malaysia would be much successful if being ruled by LKY from 1963, no?

Malaysia may overtake China in economy term if Malaysia worked with Mr Lee long time ago.

Singapore has taken the best measure to ensure its people's well-being is protected. Publicly displaying or wearing foreign national emblems relating to the Israel-Hamas war without a permit is an offence

In msia, politicians continue to enjoy their lives as T20 by grabbing the best part of the pie, rain or shine. So they can comment on foreign war issues even in a way that will bring down the country reputation, deepen economy crisis, hyperinflation and greater suffering to the ignorant ppl. Singapore got thoughtful leaders, hence cleverer citizens too

And the first thing pmx did was to embark on a series of costly (yet later will be proven to be futile) foreign trips and to try to get investment and support from the global economy giants. Futile because next make his voice was heard on the international stage for being on the antagonising side of the middle east crisis, potentially inviting critical sanction and retribution. Hence futile futile futile

all PMX investment trip may come to naught after his strong support for Palestine & Hamas
USA is thinking of imposing sanctions on countries who support Hamas. They may block Tesla from investing in Malaysia, as well as other MOUs.
