LOL, only warrants will expired to zero value. ICPS will mature on set date i.e. auto convert to mother share. If liquidated, preference share will be paid in priority over mother shares holder, i.e. lower risk. For info, I have taken the risk to get in 2.5 sen on Thursday and 2 sen on Friday. Average price now 2.25sen. Happy Trading

How does icps work ? Could we only concert by having 10 icps to 1 ordinary share by paying nothing? And when maturity date, can it automatically convert to ordinary share ?

Ans: 10 Focus-PA can be converted into 1 mother share without extra payment. Each Focus-PA worth 5.5sen during conversion regardless how much you pay during purchase in open market. Will auto convert upon maturity. Happy Trading

@persie, the original subscriber already paid 5.5sen (base value, take it as loan stock with a fixed value), hoping to gain a profit from this ICPS issuance. Somehow, you managed to purchase lower than the issuance price. Based on the conversion ratio of 1:10 to make up 55sen i.e. 5.5sen x 10 ICPS or minimum 1 ICPS (value at 5.5sen) plus cash to make up 55sen, you can convert to mother share. If by the time (8 working days needed for conversion) mother price still above your contributed equivalent investment, you can sell with a profit. Happy Trading

@Not_logic, don't forget the free 'sweetener' warrants given with the subscription? Also, the 'herd' mentality of 'negative' news? I really don't have the answer why selling when mathematical still profitable? I believed the subscription $ still not spend yet on the intended purpose; so Focus-PA still secure? Happy Trading

@newbie5354_, it is 3W for every 2 ICPS subscribed. "FREE DETACHABLE WARRANTS IN FOCUS (''WARRANTS D'') ON THE BASIS OF 2 ICPS TOGETHER WITH 3 FREE WARRANTS D".
Hypothetically (cerita dongeng), if subscriber sold warrants D at first day of trading at 7.5sen (figure from graph and 52w high), Focus-PA holding cost free with handsome profit. So it is not a bad idea to subscibe some of this RI. Happy Trading

if u want to convert now & got your PA at 0.02, u will just need 10 x 0.02 = 0.2 costing for 1 mother share.
as long as u use 10 PA to convert, u will get 1 mother share, regardless how much u bought the PA.

I intended to invest more on Focus-PA, and done some reading on Fintec and Focus latest quarter reports. The following quote seems partly support my "cerita dongeng".
"Article B11 - Status of corporate proposals
a) On 2 December 2020, Asiabio Capital Sdn. Bhd. (“ABC”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fintec, has subscribed in aggregate 25.05% or 512,099,792 ICPS with 768,149,688 free detachable Warrants D of Focus Dynamics Group Berhad("the free detachable Warrants") for an aggregate sum of RM28.16 million in cash via the Rights Issue of ICPS with Warrants of Focus at an issue price of RM0.055 per ICPS. On 21 December 2020, ABC had disposed the free detachable Warrants for an aggregate sum of RM26.74 million in cash through open market."
It seems that the holding cost of 512million Focus-PA for Fintec only around RM1.4million.

@Go Jon, your assumption is right. Only thing if I average down, I always do multiple, i.e. if I buy 3,000 lots at 1.5 sen; I will buy 6,000 lots at 1 sen. This way, my cost very much lower than 1.5 sen. With such low value, as of now, I already in paper gain..

I have no intention to convert any time soon; worst come to worst, will let the PA mature and auto-convert. Since it is so low value, the upside is much higher than the low. On KPS, I think we can do it together. Language shall not be a problem as long as we know our common target..Happy Trading

Hi Go Jon, The proposal was in Jan 2021; rejected. I presume no bad effect. Present price still very stable, the down side risk is very low if your holding is just 1 sen.

@BLee: had the proposal been allowed, the no. of company shares will balloon to 19 billions shares, and the price of FOCUS mother share will be around ±0.015 per share. I just wondered what is in the mind of the BOD?. Who should benefit the most if the exercise was approved? Based on the amount of shares held, Fintec and subsidiaries stood out. If they can quickly push out the shares between 0.02 to 0.03 they can make tons of money.

@BLee: since the exercise has not worked out to plan, perhaps they may have to push current mother price @0.04 to between 0.05 to 0.08. It is a bit harder to do, because of the need for bigger financial resources. Last month they had difficulties to push beyond 0.05. See what they had done to the share prices of Saudee and LKL lately, I believe they will soon come out with new proposals to raid the market. Have a nice weekend and happy trading next week

BLee: At around Jan. 2021, Focus D trading in the range of 60 to 70 sen, after split will be around 23 sen. Due to foreign selling starting Apr. 2021, the shares split no more doable??

BLee: No comments..Only interested in ICPS which is worth 5.5 sen selling at 1 sen and maturing in 2030. This 5.5 sen cannot be split, consolidated or diluted unless converted...

@BLee: your comments and logical evaluations in the Focus D forum dont sound like jokes at all. Newbies and old hands alike should earn or recover something if they move in now for the mother share at between 0.06 to 0.07 per share. Personally, I like what you have said regards the prospect of the PA. Since my last posting in August, I have accumulated 2 million shares at 1 sen per piece. If the mother price continue to move up in the next few months, and the daughter follow in tandem, I dare to say that I made a good decision at following your argument that investing in the PA is at a low risk and with high return potential when acquired at a low price. And like what you have also said, the worst scenario is to convert the PA at 10 to 1 into 1 single mother share. And you have until 2030 to do it!. Foreign buyers have returned, so HAPPY TRADING NEXT WEEK.

@Go Jon, I am NOT a fortune teller, unlike some Forumer which put up ALL the negative scenario of consolidation of 50 to 1, etc and prices retreated back to few sen. Of course that is the risk we take, TradeAtYourOwnRisk. In your case, good to hear that you managed to collect 2 million Focus-PA since the 1 sen buying queue has increased significantly. All the best for you and to myself. Hope everyone don't get influenced by my write-up, please do own due diligence.
