Structured warrants are proprietary instruments issued by a third-party issuer, namely an eligible broker or financial institution that give holders the right, but not the obligation, to buy (call warrants) or sell (put warrant) the underlying instrument in the future for a fixed price.
A call warrant is in-the-money when the exercise price is lower than the price of the underlying share.
A put warrant is in-the-money when the underlying share price is lower than the exercise price.

During the AGM yesterday, 1 of the resolutions was rejected. As a result, the CEO cum MD was removed. The shareholders exercised their discretion to axe the unperformed key personnel (main reason should be : the company share price and sales dropped). The acting CEO was appointed today.

Sanusi jawab dakwaan projek mega gagal
Syarikat Widad Business Group Sdn Bhd (WBG) mahu kembangkan perniagaan mereka di Langkawi, projek tersebut dilancarkan di Kuala Lumpur oleh Perdana Menteri pada ketika itu. Tak kan kita tak boleh umum.
“Pelaburan swasta bergantung kepada keadaan pasaran. Apabila tangguh, tak kan kita salah?,” soalnya.
Menurutnya, pelaksanaan projek berkenaan mengambil masa untuk kelulusan kebenaran merancang (KM) kerana melibatkan keluasan besar.
“Fasa pertama sedang berjalan. Tapi ada pihak kecam kerajaan negeri dakwa projek itu tak berjalan, saya ingat dia buta, kalau pergi Langkawi, projek itu memang sedang dibangunkan,” jelasnya.
