My friend wants to learn investing.
One fine day, his wife confided.
He subscribed for a course on trading.
The cost was not small.

Pay RM 10 per person. If 1 thousand attend RM 10K go to speakers? After deduct RM 1K for misc exp net RM 9K to share for 10 speakers or RM 900/per speaker.

To be honest I think they priced it too low. If you used the mental model exclusivity and social proof, if you charge rm10 people will not come BECAUSE they assume the value of the event is just rm10, therefore not worth going for.
If they charged the event as rm1000(with a discount from rm5000), I believe many more people will come, because they will believe that they will be getting an education or service that is worth rm5000 for only rm1000.
And the hosts can up the quality and give an event with paying rm1000 for.
Its like attending your children concert, it if it's rm5 you probably won't go. Buy if it is rm100, you die die also must go.

If anyone is attending, just for fun help me goreng slee having on his INSAS by asking him these questions:
How much is numoni generating and earning? How much they bought it for?
How much is sengenics revenue and earnings? How much they bought it for?
What is management reasoning in buying dgsb with money generated from selling INARI shares? Dgsb just had bad quarter this year, should INSAS invest more into dgsb and be associate?
What is management reasoning in selling INARI shares with it's consistent dividend every quarter? What purpose is there in killing their golden goose? What are they buying with that capital?

As of reasoning in selling INARI shares? Take profit. Taking profit is not a dirty word as Mr. Koon likes to say “No share can go up or come down continuously for whatever reason” Sold Inari on the high and bought back Inari at the low. Advice you to do so too with your QL. (Sell high and buy bacl at lower cost to you)
Many of above business is associate companies of INSAS and Yes INSAS incurred burn rate in trying their hand in building new business venture. IT/telecommunication services light in capital but huge in potential. Some may failed and closed down but if you only stay in your comfort zone than INSAS will never founded INARI.

I am taking my responsibility seriously and will use INSAS Annual report: Profit and loss statement, Balance sheet, Cash flow and intrinsic value calculation to emphasis my point.
I will then promote shareholders activism: Shareholder activism is not a privilege - it is a right and a responsibility. When we invest in a company, we own part of that company and we are partly responsible for how that company progresses. If we believe there is something going wrong with the company, then we, as shareholders, must become active and vocal- Mark Mobius.
A lot of people lose his life saving and some even commit suicide because of insider con job/scam. The conman/scammer get away with murder because good man do nothing until when the victim is his own family member or close friends then only they regret not doing something to stop or expose the scam.
We as minority shareholders are perfectly capable and able to stop it before it happen if we just care to attend AGM ask the hard questions and hold the BOD and external auditor accountable. Follow up and report any irregularities/red flags to SC/Bursa. (Me too is a victim of Xingquan)

Insas has an adventurous leadership. The burn rate insas took on trying new ventures finally unearthed a gem in Inari
It is better to try and fail rather than do nothing like so many managements

I and Mr. Koon are planning to call an EGM on Xingquan, unfortunately the Chinaman get news of it and purposely did not report the quarterly report and got Xingquan suspended from Bursa and hence no EGM or AGM.

One of the important thing as an investor is to know what NOT to invest in.
You seem to be entangled with so many gruesome companies, the number of them seems incredible for a single investor.
Also, the smarter thing when you are in a leaking boat (in investing) is to jump to a better boat.
You seriously need to re-examine your investing philosophy and strategy.
