ROHAS TECNIC - THE WORST IS OVER FROM MCO

FA:
1) The Group had to comply with a complete shutdown of the fabrication operations and EPCC project sites. Subject to tight SOP, gradual operations recommenced in late May. The worst may over.

2) Tenderbook remains at RM1b underpinned by its Penang transmission job, inevitably delayed due to theMCO. Rohas will tender for extension to its current Laos EPCC contract with a similar contract value.

3) Rohas announced that it had been awarded a contract by Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd worth RM102m.

4) The government is developing a national digital infrastructure plan known as Jalinan Digital Negara (Jendela) under the 12th Malaysia Plan (2021–2025). Phase 2 of JENDELA will focus on transitioning towards 5G. In Sarawak, 636 new communication towers are being planned while 977 transmitters on existing towers will be upgraded under the USP fund as well. Meanwhile, 49 new towers and 825 existing transmitters will be upgraded commercially.
- To recap, previously Rohas secured fabrication contracts in Sarawak for 130 out of 300 towers tendered with an estimated value of RM19.5m (RM150k per tower). Recall that Sarawak has allocated c.RM1bn for the rollout of telco towers (including EPCC and tower costs).
