A personal opinion in stock trading

A moment to review the plan again. Long term?  Short term? Which would be the right plan?

Trying to pursue many different things at once? Or direction, dreams, goals? But not making any notable progress? You might be considering something that may be more effective?

Ever experience the frustration that the world wants you to pick one thing, but you want them all?

Ever thinking of the solution is to think long term, do just one for a few years, another for a few years, and so on?

Our past, present and future.

We have all done this on a small scale. When something is urgent and needs to be done the same day. You'll really focus. Maybe you'll get distracted thoughts for a moment. But you're putting it out of your mind because you know if you focus on this one thing/ stock right now, you can get it done, and do the other stuff afterwards.

So expand that into months and eventually years.

Most people overestimate what they can do in one year. And underestimate what they can do in five years.

Our foresight and our future.

**Please don't think this means we should all be extremely future focus.

The happiest and most effective people are balanced. Equally high on future focus and present focus. And viewing the past as positive.

When you have work to finish, is it better to future focus?

When your work is done and it's time to relax, be present focus. During your loves one gathering, think of past focus and to enjoy your best times. Would this a balance way to focus?

Expectations of future success.

Before, I tried to get smart but always at the bottom of my career because I often lost for not adhering to the discipline and rules of the game. In this context, let's say I am present focus.

Eventually I approach the help from one successful coach/ advisor and relentlessly trained me to focus on trading discipline, mental toughness, self-esteem and set a high expectation for future success. Sure enough, with the present focus, creativity and a new future focus and desire to win, I live a balanced life thereafter.

Live and focus on your past, present, future, that's a balanced life. ~~

P/s: in my younger days, I feel smart and successful driven, like I have got it all figured out. And "One" event knocked on me, damn hard. I've never felt so wrong and lost. It hurts and feeling real bad. Be humble. The only word not to over-estimate oneself. Be warned of over confident.
