GE14: An open letter: Has DAP betrayed Dr. Tan Seng Giaw? Or Dr. Tan Seng Giaw had betrayed DAP, Malaysians and his own Principles?
Dear YB Dr.Tan Seng Giaw,
Let me refer to freemalaysiatoday report below dated 19 April 2018.
PETALING JAYA: DAP’s Dr Tan Seng Giaw, who was recently dropped as a candidate for the May 9 elections, is standing by his statement that the prime minister should not be held accountable for the dealings of state fund 1MDB.
He told FMT he was only pointing out what was written in the 2016 Auditor-General’s Report.
“The A-G’s Report has not been released to the public. Many people do not know its contents, so for them to comment is baseless,” he added. “I have read it many times.”
He said he could not comment further on the report as it was classified under the Official Secrets Act.
Tan, who was the Public Accounts Committee vice-chairman, had said Najib was not involved in 1MDB’s dealings as he was only the chairman of its advisory board.
He also said the correct thing to do was to go after “the board of directors and management, and those who ran the company”, who were “the people we have to probe”.
Prime Minister Najib Razak said yesterday that the DAP veteran had been dropped from the party’s Kuala Lumpur line-up for speaking “the truth” about 1MDB.
Tan has been dropped as the candidate for Kepong, a seat he had held for eight terms. “This is what happens to someone who told the truth on 1MDB and refused to toe the party line,” Najib had said.
I refer; correct thing to do was to go after “the board of directors and management, and those who ran the company”, who were “the people we have to probe”.
- Is any probe been done?
- As a responsible Public Accounts Committee vice-chairman and true to your principles should you ask the government why no probe is done?
- Did you realized that Najib is using you as political tool and scoring political points when he said, “DAP veteran had been dropped from the party’s Kuala Lumpur line-up for speaking “the truth” about 1MDB. This is what happens to someone who told the truth on 1MDB and refused to toe the party line,”?
- Are you readily be unashamedly used by Najib aka MO1 (DOJ) to clear himself of any wrong in 1MDB?
I had wrote to you on 15 April 2018, appealing to you with the hindsight of current evidences produced above, I hope you can now view the PAC report in a different light and stay true to your principles and declare that you withdraw your endorsement for the PAC report and admit that the only way to find out the truth and nothing but the truth is to hold a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on 1MDB. I will be very grateful if you are ready to do so and help to introduce your successor to Kepong folks. I thank you.”
I am totally heartbroken, shattered, anguished and can’t believe my eyes when reading the above report by freemalaysiatoday.
Please do not further unashamedly use stupid excuses to defend the PAC report or say Najib was not involved in 1MDB’s dealings as he was only the chairman of its advisory board.
Please for the last time, I plead with you, stay true to your principles and brave enough to say with the hindsight of current evidences I declare that I withdraw my endorsement for the PAC report and now support a RCI on 1MDB to find out the truth.
Please self reflect and repent; there must be a reason why many branding you a “traitor” and a “running dog” and some even went as far to insult your ancestors.
For whatever reasons it might be, it is worthwhile now to destroy your whole lifework, reputation and honor that you had took you whole life to build?

To all the readers who had read my previous post above and feel offended. I offer my sincere apology for my naïve in defending Dr. Tan Siew Giaw so called principles and honor. I withdraw my benefit of doubt given to Dr. Tan until and unless he make a public statement; “I withdraw my endorsement for the PAC report and my pervious statement Najib was not involved in 1MDB’s dealings as he was only the chairman of its advisory board. I support the holding of a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on 1MDB for the truth to be told and justices to be served.”
I would like to say I am sorry. I had underestimate the “Cash is King’s” evil grasp had reached so far and so wide and had destroyed so many good men. God have mercy on us and please save our beloved Malaysia.

Pls stop all your nonsense, shouting rubbish here , because you worry that MCA will be wipe out in GE14.
As proven in Hengyuan,you only shout nonsense, to mislead people , for your own selfish interest/gain, not bcause you are truely concern for what is good for the country's future and survival.
If you truely love MCA, you will welcome these two jokers, Liow & Wee, get what they deserve, be kicked out in shame, for their gross neglect of duty, to uphold integrity of office and defend truth and justice .

Dont worry, a good tree will survive, new leaders will take their place, hopefully, those with good principles, who work for truth and justice. Its the only way for MCA & Gerakan to be rejuvenated.

Political Influence is not the issue, the country's surival and long-term growth and prosperity is the issue.

MCA will survive, but may only thrive, when the current boneless leadership is wipe out, so new, good leaders can take their place.
