Review My Year 2016 with 9 Questions – Buddyinvest

We are now at the 3rd week of December, 2016. It is a time for reflection, introspection and recalibration. I would like to review my year with 9 questions. I do this every year with the same set of questions but my answers have changed year to year.
I remember there was one interesting story about Albert Einstein who handed over exam papers to his teaching assistant, the assistant noted that it was the same paper that Einstein had set for that class the year before. The assistant queried the master, “Isn’t this the same exam you gave this class last year?”. “Yes, yes it is.” replied Einstein. Emboldened, the assistant asked, “But how can you give the same exam to this class two years in a row?” “Because,” Einstein replied, “the answers have changed”.
My answers have changed too. Please find below what I want to share with you.

This posting is the embodiment of the highest virtues for success in the stock market......it is the happy and successful marriage of optimism, confidence and critical thinking. The 3 legs that big successes in this venture has to depend on.

his writing is dominated by PLP stuff. nothing much originality u can get from his writing at the moment.

Re: It is not about PLP. This is to show gratitude. Like it or not, KYY has revealed so many tricks that cannot be found in text books. His writings have been eye-openers for many retailers that include you and me. We may not agree with some of his stockpicks. Always take the positives out of every situation.
I have also learned a lot from you Icon8888 and I always consider yours as must-read writings.

errr... I think there is a misunderstanding here... I did not mean "buddyinvest PLP somebody".
I mean "I don't mean to PLP you, but I think I LIKE your articles very much"

I must confess two important things i learnt from mr.koon's sharings since 2013 : 1) trust nobody in stock mkt n 2) old man can bite.
Since then i improve my trading skills a lot...i lose less money n make more money..

I proactive learnt from CharlesT instead of learning reactively...thanks to this legend (ex-murali).
The only truly non-PLP in i3....i have to admit even myself can be a PLP.

Since then i improve my trading skills a lot...i lose less money n make more money..

I believe Mr Koon is a fair person, even though we have a big disagreement on Gadang, he still write me an email saying that he respected my believe and he is very sure that I have enough facts and figures to back up my buy recommendation on Gadang.

It is normal that sometime 2 persons can look at the same thing and have different perspectives. I seriously think that differing opinions are good as they can prompt us to think further and help us to make wise investment decision.

Re: Indicator of success of each strategy can be measured by the amount of money you make for the same period of time. If your present trading strategy works for you, please carry on.

INCREASED MARGIN FACILITIES...MAYBE should buy what u can afford and use cash

buddyinvest if u are quick(sharp shooter)and have someone to monitor stocks price then alert u then ok

I have lost a lot using margin now only use cash..1993 BULL RUN will never ever comeback
