A new web portal has been launched as a one-stop-shop for air travelers in the United States whose travel plans may be affected by Covid-19.

Advocacy group Airlines4America has launched www.AirlinesTakeAction.com with the aim of offering travelers the latest updates, information and resources regarding the airline and travel industries all in one space.

"The safety, health and wellbeing of travelers are always the top priorities of US carriers," said Rebecca Spicer, Senior Vice President of Communications in a statement.

"That's why airlines are working collaboratively with the Administration... and other federal agencies to identify and implement pragmatic effective solutions during this public health crisis."

Along with the latest updates from US airlines on new safety measures and route changes, the web page features tips for travelers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, the White House and the US Department of Health and Human Services.
