[转贴] 索罗斯重出江湖 准备大规模沽空
据《华尔街日报》引述消息报导指出，索罗斯不看好全球经济前景，近日已重操故业，大举造空！
由索罗斯和其家族管理，规模达300亿美元的索罗斯管理基金，预期不少市场將转弱，近日沽空股票，买入黄金及金矿股此类避险资產。此举对索罗斯而言是个重大的转变，因为已年届85岁的索罗斯，近年主要集中注意於公共政策和慈善事业上。
报道更指出，索罗斯过去一直对旗下基金的投资密切注视，若基金蒙受损失，他更会积极参与基金运作，但最近几年已变得不太活跃公司事务。然而，自今年起索罗斯却开始花更多时间，於办公室指挥大局，更不时与公司高层沟通。
在1997年3月美联储加息前后，索罗斯联合对冲基金对东南亚金融市场发动攻击。以泰国为发端，一场金融危机席捲了东南亚，並进一步演变为亚洲金融危机。
2011年，索罗斯结束长达40年的对冲基金经理生涯，並退还所有客户的资金，日后只会管理家族资產。2015年初，索罗斯宣佈「终极退休」，以后不再沾手投资管理。

iswara, tell that to Soros in 1997 and before that when he breaks Bank of England. I am pretty sure he doesn't have 30billion then.

Read more into Soros operations in 1992 and 1997, it is not because of his shorts that causes the collapse. The situation is there and he shorted to make money. Don't idolize "Big Short" and critizing Soros.
I don't idolize Soros, but you cant blame him for everything, if he can short and collapse world economy, might as well do it everyday and make money.
My personal opinion is just he is like all of us, he believes in something and he has taken his position, only difference he is in World Cup we are in Kampong fighting.
