According to former US President, Jimmy Carter, China loves peace and USA is the MOST warmongering country in the history of humankind. US spent 95% of its entire history at war.US has only enjoyed 16 years of peace in its 242-year history.

How do you describe a country which spent 95% of its entire history at war? They have no hesitation to go to war with anyone who do not follow what they want you to do for them and their ideology.

War veteran, Jason Lilley was a special operations forces Marine Raider who fought in multiple battles in Iraq and Afghanistan during America's longest war.

As Lilley, reflects on President Joe Biden's decision to end America's military mission in Afghanistan on Aug. 31, he expresses love for his country, but disgust at its politicians and dismay at the blood and money squandered. Comrades were killed and maimed in wars he says were unwinnable, making him rethink his country and his life.

"A hundred percent we lost the war," Lilley said. "The whole point was to get rid of the Taliban and we didn't do that. The Taliban will take over."

Biden says that the Afghan people must decide their own future and that America should not have to sacrifice another generation in an unwinnable war.Al Qaeda's 9/11 attacks on America triggered a nearly 20-year conflict that led to more than 3,500 U.S. and allied military deaths, the deaths of more than 47,000 Afghan civilians, the killing of at least 66,000 Afghan troops, and over 2.7 million Afghans fleeing the county, according to the nonpartisan Costs of War project at Brown University.

"Was it worth it? It's a big ass question," said Lilley, who was on the front lines of America's Global War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan for almost 16 years.

He said he deployed believing troops were there to defeat the enemy, stimulate the economy and uplift Afghanistan as a whole. They failed, he said.

Lilley is not alone in reflecting on the U.S. withdrawal after nearly 20 years of war. Many Americans are. The perspectives of Lilley and other veterans can help inform the country about the costs of entering war and the lessons to be learned from Afghanistan.

While in Afghanistan, Lilley said he grew to understand why historians have called it the "graveyard of empires."

Britain invaded Afghanistan twice in the 19th century and suffered one of its worst military defeats there in 1842. The Soviet Union occupied Afghanistan from 1979 to 1989, leaving after 15,000 of its troops were killed and tens of thousands were wounded.

The Taliban claimed to be in control of 85 percent of Afghanistan after seizing key border crossings with Iran and Turkmenistan, part of a sweeping offensive launched as US troops pull out of the war-torn nation.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid separately told AFP their fighters had captured the border town of Islam Qala on the Iranian frontier and the Torghundi crossing with Turkmenistan.

Taliban delegation visit Moscow.

Taliban representatives on Thursday met Zamir Kabulov, Russia's special envoy to Afghanistan, in Moscow to stress that its recent territorial gains in the country do not pose a threat to Russia or its Central Asian allies.

The meeting came days after a Taliban offensive forced more than 1,000 members of Afghanistan's security forces to retreat into neighbouring Tajikistan, where Russia maintains a military base.

Investment opportunities in Kabul

When US pulled out of Afghanistan, there will be peace. China and Russia already vowed to help improve its economy. I believe there many investment opportunities for investors, real estate developers and construction contractors.

Due to Covid 19 MCO and lockdown, contractors and developers cannot operate. They should go to Kabul.

There will be many infrastructures and building construction projects. Moreover, there must many damaged buildings and land in the centre of Kabul for cheap sale.

In sense yes...but i won't call it a defect in the military sense. The US did not go in to conquer and hold on to territory like what happened in Tibet or Xinjiang. They wanted to take some sort of revenge on those who attacked them..and improve the situation in the country. But like in some other countries in the middle east, it did not work in the same way as it did in Japan, Korea or even Vietnam. In my view, the US has learnt the hard way that certain people simply cannot be helped..Anyway, it is still not the end of the story. How things pans out in Afghanistan is left to be seen...

There are roughly 2 groups of country in the disputes/conflicts. In the first group , there r USA, Saudi, UAE, Jordan, Israel, Azerbaijan,... and maybe Turkey. In the other group, there r Russia, Iran, Qatar, China, Syria, Pakistan,...and maybe Afghanistan.

Afghanistan does not trust Turkey even to run the airport in Kabul after the exist by USA. Now, the Taliban wanted the current President to go before any negotiation. India is not so happy if China will get a good deal in the reconstruction of Afghanistan. Actually, China is a neighbor of Afghanistan but no sure about India. But Pakistan is a big time neighbor of Afghanistan. CPEC is a sign of good relationship between Pakistan and China, no doubt. Pakistan and India will remain as enemy for years to come. USA should go in to Pakistan to compete in the economy/projects with China but they are just not capable already.

Turkey and Israel supplied drones to Azerbaijan and defeated the Armenians during the recent conflicts. Israel was asked not to campurtangan when USA attacked Saddam so to avoid any accusation from the Muslim countries that another Muslim country was attacked by Israel. So, USA used the military air bases in Saudi to launch the assault/attack against Iraq then. As long Israel was not in the picture, the attack on Saddam is fine.

Now, Saudi is so worry about Iran (wanted a nuclear bomb)so much so Saudi has to make friendship with Israel. Only Israel can destroy Iran, Saudi knew about it. Even several others like UAE and Oman got friendship with Israel. As long Saudi is willing, other smaller Muslim countries will not be labelled as traitors for having connection with Israel.

So, now Afghanistan had better choose Moscow, China, Iran (neighbor), Pakistan and Qatar because anticipatedly Afghanistan can not trust USA, Saudi, Turkey, India and UAE.

By the way, Iranians is not Arabs but Persians. The Persians dislike the Arabs and their religions are of different version also.
