AYS just announced to place out 10% of its total issued shares at 76 sen per share. Many investors considered this share placement will dilute their interest and they are rushing to dump their holdings because they don’t know the advantages of share placement. Shares placement is good for the company and the shareholders.

All business men aim to list their companies so that they can issue shares to sell for cash. AYS just issued shares to get cash instead of borrowing money from bank to expand its business operation.

My experience in IJM

This reminds me of my experience about 24 years ago when I was a director of IJM Cooperation Bhd. At that time, the company wanted to borrow a large amount of money from the bank to buy more land to build more houses to take advantage of the big demand for houses. Our accountant, Krishnan Tan suggested the company issued ICULS to the existing shareholders instead of borrowing money from the bank.

As all the directors were engineers, we did not know what was ICULS. Krishnan explained that ICULS was irrevocable convertible loan stocks. The company issued ICULS to existing shareholders instead of borrowing money from bank to avoid paying interest charges. Shareholders had the right to convert the ICULS to shares within 5 years at the same price as when the ICULS were issued. Moreover, the company will pay the shareholders 6% per annum for the loan. ICULS is another form of convertible warrants.

All the directors considered Krishnan’s proposal was much better than borrowing money from the bank. As a result, Krishnan was promoted to CEO of IJM. We all have retired. Currently Krishnan is IJM Chairman and a Tan Seri.

Panic uncle, your credibility is dropping like falling knife. Whoever listen to you would get cut, so it's better for you to keep your opinion to yourself. Stop hurting people and go play with your grandchildren, leave your investment to a better hand, I understand that previously you engaged OTB to help you manage so now you did better than OTB?

Can not steal from the customers and donate to the poor. Not allowed, no reward for God, and instantly sins being collected into the "Report Card". God will do the calculation.
A switch for the A/C is RM20 but a compressor cost the customer RM1,000 easily.

The strategy of "Buy low sell high" considered executed/applied when others are enticed/misled to buy while you are dumping gradually/in one single trade.
