Important Highlights for Budget 2019 as of 5pm

- Airport REIT to be introduced 1st in the world, MAHB to remain the operator
 
- Departure levy for passengers leaving Malaysia at RM20 to ASEAN countries and RM40 to other countries
 
- Service tax for B2B exemption from 1 Jan 2019
 
- Un-reported assets can be reported where only a 10% penalty would be implemented from assets declared 3 Nov to 31 Mac 2019
 
- LHDN given the power to investigate any abnormal riches of people
 
- RPGT to increase to 5% even after 5 years of holding the property, 10% for foreigners and held under a company
 
- Houses above RM 1 million to get stamp duty increase to 3%
 
- Household earnings below RM 4000 will receive RM500 to RM1000 incentive according to the level of income
 
- Subsidized fuel for 1500cc and below for cars or 125cc below for bikes. 30 sen subsidy for 1st 100 liters for cars and 40 liters for bikes
 
- Automated pricing mechanism to continue, subsidy and fuel to implement in stages
 
- Mandatory EPF contribution for employers reduced from 6% to 4% hiring pensioners to encourage more working opportunities especially in the B40 income level. Zero contribution for EPF from employee
 
- 7 days of leave without record to be given to non-Islam for religious activities/issues
 
- Minimum wage increased to RM1,100

those buying subsidy petrols only need to line up...If can't lineup in petro station for at least 30 minutes or more like what BR1M (now BSH) lineup to get BR1M in bank...then you just pay for ubsubsidy petrol with no line up lah...

The BR1M receivers need to lineup in Bank, who say petrol subsidy receivers no need to lineup in petrol station???
