KOTA KINABALU: The three-day Sabah Assembly sitting starting tomorrow is expected to pass a bill on supplementary budgets.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said the bill is for the additional provisions the government needs for the second half of the year.

On issues expected to be raised, he said: "Wait until the state assembly meets tomorrow and you can get the answers from the government," he told the media after closing the Parti Gagasan Rakyat programme at the Sabah International Convention Centre.

Recently, several major issues have been raised related to infrastructure, social and economy.

Among them are the severe flooding in several districts impacting thousands of people, water woes and delayed infrastructure development, the demolition of squatter houses and sea gypsies, and the imposition of a port congestion surcharge.

Issues related to the Malaysia Agreement 1963 are also expected to be raised as the deadline for the mechanism of implementing the payment of Sabah's entitled 40 per cent is by the end of this month.
