ISKANDAR PUTERI: Country Garden Group is doubling down on its commitment to local resources by establishing a dedicated Malaysia Division.

The strategic move comes as Forest City, a key project under Country Garden, continues to benefit from the revised Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) policy, its elevation to a duty-free island, and new attractive investment incentives within the Special Financial Zone (SFZ).

The division will oversee all Country Garden's projects across the nation.

Its focus is to ensure resources are optimised, foster local business growth, and rapid development within Malaysia and the Forest City flagship area.

It will also oversee all Country Garden's projects with strategic planning, coordination, and its management, it said in a statement today.

This initiative reflects Country Garden's strategy to enhance the integration of high-quality resources and strengthen its team structure in Malaysia, to further solidify its role in advancing Forest City as a flagship project.

"Country Garden's collaboration with the federal government, Johor government and Johor Esplanade Danga 88 Sdn Bhd, will be critical in driving SFZ developments.
