VALUATION DOES NOT DETERMINE THE PRICE, IT'S JUST A TOOL TO ESTIMATE A VALUE OF A BIZ

"How do you save RM50,000? - I shared with a friend on how to do it. I got a term life for RM280 p.a covering RM100k until 70 years old. I cancelled my wholelife insurance of RM2,800 p.a. for the same coverage up to 100 years old. Save RM2500 p.a x 20 years = RM50,000. (PM0122037325)

.....IS THIS ARTICLE FAKE OR FACT?? ANYONE CAN CONFIRM?

It is sad that Mr Koon Yew Yin has stopped blogging in i3investor.com due to some "ill-mannered forumers's comments".

OK, this is not from me but my FUND MANAGER.

He recommended GADANG at RM1.87.

I like its palm oil 5,000 ha, to me will worth RM500m when matured.  Today, its market cap is about RM433mil.

(will continue later)

For more information, one can read the analyst report in i3investor.com.  The TP is RM2.81.  2013 PAT is only RM20m and by 2016F, it is projected to be RM115m, almost 6x.  The earnings are mainly from its earthwork, engineering, constructions, utilities and plantations.

Should the growth materialised as what the analysts predicts, then the potential for this stock is great.

But personally, I also like its plantation business.  Although it is not huge, it has potential growth, harvested since 2012, expected to reach maturity by 2016.  This will continue its earning growth beyond 2016.  When it becomes mature, the plantation itself will worth RM500m, more than double what is today's market cap.

This is a mini IJM at the moment.  Lets hope it grows into IJM one day.  Keep for long term, meanwhile must monitor its activities.  Let's hope it don't go up too fast, and let more to accumulate gradually.

It is disappointing to have Mr Koon leaving this forum. By the way, 5000 haof Palm Oil is insignificant to Gadang. If you buy Gadang for that, you bought the wrong stock.
