VALUATION DOES NOT DETERMINE THE PRICE, IT'S JUST A TOOL TO ESTIMATE A VALUE OF A BIZ

"How do you save RM50,000? - I shared with a friend on how to do it. I got a term life for RM280 p.a covering RM100k until 70 years old. I cancelled my wholelife insurance of RM2,800 p.a. for the same coverage up to 100 years old. Save RM2500 p.a x 20 years = RM50,000. (PM0122037325)

.....IS THIS ARTICLE FAKE OR FACT?? ANYONE CAN CONFIRM?

WHAT DID MR TONG (THE WEEKLY EDGE) BOUGHT @ 2 JULY 2018

1. Mah Sing

2. EcoWorld Malaysia

Why? Because these stocks  (selling below properties below RM500,000) could enjoy robust upside gains once demand regain traction.

WHAT DID MR TONG SOLD @ 2 JULY 2018

1. OKA

2. Superlon

3. Willowglen

MR TONG'S VIEW

We expect focus will shift from mega infratructure to affordable housing projects under the new regime.

(mega infrastructure - HSR, ECRL, MRT3.  What about Pan Borneo, Penang Tunnel etc?)

WHAT IS YOUR VIEW?

Look for properties that deliver affordable housing projects, landed residentials, projects of properties below RM500k (with exception of strategic location where strong demand is available).  Avoid luxury condos (>RM800,000).

As for constructions sector, look for mid size competitive contrators that is good with building schools, hospitals, police stations and other government properties.

Recently many construction and property stocks created new lows, bargains do exist.

1. EcoWorld Malaysia owns 27% of EcoWorld International.
2. When will properties gain traction depends on PH and BNM policies.
3. Until PH settle down, the direction of many sectors is still unclear.
4. Only consumer stocks are in favour at the moment.
5. Foreign funds trend is still unsettle.
