"How do you save RM50,000? - I shared with a friend on how to do it. I got a term life for RM280 p.a covering RM100k until 70 years old. I cancelled my wholelife insurance of RM2,800 p.a. for the same coverage up to 100 years old. Save RM2500 p.a x 20 years = RM50,000. (PM0122037325)

1.  END GAME FOR World QEs (USA, Euro, Japan & China)

Answer:  Look at Japan (Slow Growth)

2.  END GAME FOR USA QE

Answer: Look at Japan

3.  EFFECTS OF QE IN USA

  • Stock market up 211%
  • Housing Price up 50%
  • Average GDP Growth 2008-2015 = 2.2%

Money goes into financial markets instead of real economy.  All this is mainly due to over investments over the last few decades, that is why commodities is trending down.  It takes roughly 10 years plus to shake off the debts, or deleveraging.

On contrary to popular believe, USD dollar instead of becoming toilet paper, USD dollar will become a save haven.  Funds will run to USD Treasuries when adverse effects of markets.  (it is unusual to see, sovereign yield in Spain and Italy is lower than USA, and few countries in ECB long term yield is below zero.)

USD Dollar will appreciate instead of depreciate because the DELEVERAGING of DEBTS effect, i.e. dollar supply become non performing over a long period of time.

4.  EFFECTS OF QE on ECB & JAPAN

Answer:  Similar to USA

5. CAN QEs work?

Answer: No. Look at USA.  Look at Japan.  Next, look at ECB.

6.  So we are not going to have Hyperinflation?

Answer: No. Global devaluations is at play.  Hyperinflation will only come many years after Deflation (slow growth, continuance of deleveraging, low CPI)

7.  HOW WILL IT PLAY OUT, after all the QEs?

Answer:  Whichever asset class which is inflated by QEs will gradually be deflated (i.e. stocks, housing, junk & municipal bonds - not in the same order).

8.  WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU ARE MALAYSIAN?

Answer: ???
