The FBM KLCI climbed continuously throughout the day, ending with gains of 0.7% following the recent US-China trade truce and the agreement to resume negotiations. Meanwhile, market breadth was strongly positive as 679 winners more than tripled 214 losers, while 351 stocks traded unchanged. The energy index was among the best performers today with all stocks in the positive, with notable gains from Yinson Holdings (+21.0 sen), Hibiscus Petroleum (+6.0 sen) and KNM Group (+4.0 sen).
