Tracking the negative mood in the offshore markets, the FBM KLCI finished in the red on renewed concerns of slowing global growth, despite stronger energy prices. Market breadth was also stagnant as losers almost doubled the winners, while 417 stocks flatlined. On the flipside, consumer products-related stocks like GCB (+17.0 sen), Magni-Tech (+11.0 sen) and KPower (+7.0 sen) managed to beat the general downtrend and closed higher today.
