The FBM KLCI (+0.5%) rebounded to close above the critical 1,500 level in tandem with the regional bourses following the positive performance on Wall Street, mainly lifted by AXIATA (+14.0 sen). The broad trading activities is softer and the daily trading value is below the 100-day average value of RM2.84bn. Market breadth remained positive as the gainers outpaced the losers by 458-to-400 stocks. The plantation sector (+1.0%) outperformed the broader market in amid higher CPO price, led by SIMEPLT (+9.0 sen), KLK (+18.0 sen), and IOICORP (+2.0 sen).
