The FBM KLCI (+0.76%) bounced higher as buying interest returned in banking heavyweights amid brighter prospect on economic recovery. Market breadth remained positive as the advancers thumped the decliners by 701-to-323 stocks. The technology sector (+2.95%) outperformed the positive broader market on the back of sustained buying momentum in INARI (+11.0 sen), MPI (+190.0 sen), and GREATEC (+27.0 sen), while the energy sector (-0.42%) experienced a pullback.
