ECM: Sapura-Kencana: To acquire Berantai Field Production

Kencana Petroleum Bhd, via subsidiary Kencana Petroleum Ventures Sdn Bhd (KPV), yesterday entered into a share purchase agreement with Petrofac FPSO Holdings Ltd and Sapura Energy Ventures Sdn Bhd whereby KPV and Sapura will each acquire 85,750 shares (24.5% stake) in Berantai Field Production Ltd (BFPL) for US$85,750 (RM260,680) in cash. Together, Sapura and
KPV will hold 49% of the paid-up capital of BFPL, while the remaining 51% will be held by Petrofac. (Financial Daily)
