Singapore's retail sales rose for a 10th month in December as unemployment at a 14-year low spurred purchases of luxury goods, mobile phones and computers. The retail sales index climbed 4.2% from a year earlier after gaining a revised 6.2% in November. The median estimate in a Bloomberg News survey of nine economists was for a 5.2% gain. (Bloomberg)
